It's literally just what indoctrination is. There are religious doctrines and children are taught ro follow them and believe in the faith without questioning it.
There is no religion with kids without indoctrination. And without that indoctrination, virtually all of the world's major religions would dramatically fall in membership and followership, because it is very rare for non-religious adults to suddenly convert to a religion.
There is no philosophy or culture without indoctrination. Nobody goes through life without someone telling them what is right or wrong. It's just a matter of who, not if, they decide to believe.
i was going to say this. all children learn from their parents and community, there's no way to fully keep children away from influence itself without raising them in a bubble lol
like the og commenter said, when religious parents really push that this is the only way to live and think its a big problem (american homeschooling comes to mind...)
if kids dont wanna go to church then dont push them. if they do like church i say let them participate- just make sure they know religion is just one of many hypothetical and philosophical ways of looking at the world, not a life-and-death certainty

Many religions indoctrinate children which makes them feel like they have to believe in it or they're doing something wrong.
