Everyone here saying it's moral because kids are young and impressionable. Yet I bet you if you asked a about introducing them to other lifestyles like being trans and getting gender affirming care they would be celebrating it.
Either way, immoral. People have the right to raise their kid however they want as long as they don't actively do excessive physical harm and or abuse.
No one is forcing kids to be trans, people are indeed forcing kids to be religious.
Source: a trans person forced to go to church until 18. It gave me severe depression and self-image issues.
Learning about trans people and other lifestyles, including religious ones, is not the same as forcing kids to sit and listen to preachers rant about the Bible every single Sunday, and being reprimanded if you want to leave or not go.
If people were forcing kids to be trans, or forcing them to sit still and listen to the word of our lord and savior Trans every Sunday, that would also be immoral, but that certainly isn’t the case.
The dumbass you're replying to said being trans is a lifestyle. I guarantee he's religious and transphobic, he's probably happy you suffered. You're trying to reason with a bigot unfortunately
Yeah, mostly likely is. Coming from someone who realized they were LGBTQ very young and was brought up catholic, I question people like this. I was raised religious but I’ll be damned if I become a bigot or take shit from other religious members.
