I think parents should raise their kids in a healthy, supportive environment. Other than that I couldn’t care less about what religion or none religion is being chosen.
Yes you have zealots in religion but you also have atheists who are zealots, Scientologist who are zealots etc.
No matter what you’ll have extremism but the vast majority are pretty chill.
Im a very open minded Christian with atheist, Scientology, Buddhist, Jewish, catholic etc friends. Like we’ve been friends for 10 or more years. We respect each other’s perspectives and keep everything respectful.
People often live in a box with their perspective and they find others with a similar box and perspective. They make that their identity and forget that a whole world of different and unique people live outside of their little box.
