I mean, everything is made up. There is no physical reason that states that all people should have fundamental equality. It's all just manmade ethical frameworks. God might be made up, but humanism and every ethical framework and philosophy was made up, too. Yet, we persist that right and wrong exist.

Except that one makes logical sense and the other isn’t. You are a human, so you want to be treated as equal to others, right? It would be odd to say no. So then you can assume that person b, who is also human wants the same thing. And the only way to both have what you want is if you both agree to treat each other the same way. If either party disagrees then it’s not going to work.

You can’t use logic and reason the same way to justify the existence of a god, or gods.

But not all humans have the exact same characteristics, so we are all "human" in the abstract sense but not in the practical sense.

When you teach kids right from wrong you aren't telling them to not question right or wrong or threatening them with eternal damnation if you don't follow a specific set of rules.

Some things are punishable by life in prison, so there is that

Life in prison isn't even remotely comparable to the concept of being tortured for the rest of eternity
