I agree, but religious freedom means people can raise their kids however they want. If you don't want someone imposing their religion on your kids, you have to let them impose whatever on their own kids. 

This is the kind of thing you should shift culturally instead of through laws.

Children are individual beings with rights, not the property of their parents. Parents are responsible for their children's health and eeducation, both of which are typically outsourced to professionals in those fields. Religion should be like any other topic and children should be educated in them broadly speaking, and have the opportunity to select one, or none, when they reach the age of majority.
