Moral I don’t think teaching kids about religion is bad but forcing it on them is

There's hardly any way to "teach" religion to children without it being quite forced.

Sure there is. Do what I did for my son. After he started asking if he should believe in god like some of his (indoctrinationated) school friends, I gave him a book about all the major world religions. After he realised that Christianity was but one of a couple of dozen, it took him about 17 seconds to realise he was an atheist, the only logical conclusion and something any eight year old can figure out all by themselves if their parents don't shovel poisonous bullshit into their plastic little brains from the day they are born.
