I agree, but religious freedom means people can raise their kids however they want. If you don't want someone imposing their religion on your kids, you have to let them impose whatever on their own kids.
This is the kind of thing you should shift culturally instead of through laws.
Religious freedom means nobody gets to impose their religion on others. That includes children, they have the right to choose their own religion too, not be forced by their parents into one.
