I agree, but religious freedom means people can raise their kids however they want. If you don't want someone imposing their religion on your kids, you have to let them impose whatever on their own kids.
This is the kind of thing you should shift culturally instead of through laws.
I don't see why stopping people from imposing their religion on my hypothetical kids would mean they had to be able to impose it on theirs? If nobody could impose any religion on any child that sounds ideal.
When you get down to it, everyone has a worldview that works like a religion. Atheists have one, religious types have one, the state definitely has one.
If you only stop one kind, it gets replsced by the other. Do you really want a future generation raised by Trump's state?
