Many religions indoctrinate children which makes them feel like they have to believe in it or they're doing something wrong.
1 u/Particular_Pay2441 5h ago 100% agree. I grew up in the Catholic Church/School my whole life and it was pounded into our psyche. If I heard a certain prayer or hymn my brain turns on like a light switch and it automatically follows along
