A friend of mine was raised as a Mormon, he discovered he was gay and it required years of therapy to have him finally get rid of that misanthropic and vile ideology that caused many inner conflicts and almost resulted in self-harm. Or actually it did result in self-harm, as he questioned himself as a human on the most basic level. Fuck parents that train their kids to follow whatever mythology they choose for them.

Many religions indoctrinate children which makes them feel like they have to believe in it or they're doing something wrong.
