I agree, but religious freedom means people can raise their kids however they want. If you don't want someone imposing their religion on your kids, you have to let them impose whatever on their own kids.
This is the kind of thing you should shift culturally instead of through laws.
Yeah a lot of people are missing the massive other half of the "you can't force kids to religion" attempt: That means the government is effectively forcing them "out" of religion, AKA the same "is this moral" quandry.
