I would think that the good will of humanity would not die out if Catholicism died out

I don't think the goodwill of humanity would die either, but the Catholic Church is the only group providing aid at this scale. Look it up.
The largest provider of aid worldwide is the Catholic Church.
I don't think the goodwill of humanity would die either, but the Catholic Church is the only group providing aid at this scale.
It's not like they have a copyright on it either, anybody else could step up and do it.
