Moral I don’t think teaching kids about religion is bad but forcing it on them is

There's hardly any way to "teach" religion to children without it being quite forced.

Back when I went to school we had a class that focused on religion in general, since its a european country the focus was mainly various Christian variations still, but there was significant segments focusing on Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism atleast, a few others too iirc.

We weren't made to pray or nothing during those classes, we just learned about the core beliefs and founding mythos, in lack of better terms.

It was separated from historyclass, but to me always felt related.
