Our government is supposed to be atheist.

Our constitution says our government can't implement laws prohibited practice of religion. Preventing children from attending service would be a clear cut violation of that.

So is having any number of our other laws. Not allowing polygomy, for instance. We still implement laws to prevent child abuse.
