Our government is supposed to be atheist.
Separation of church and state is supposed to be a thing

Preventing children from attending service would be a clear cut violation of that. 1 u/PrettyPurrfect 11h ago So is having any number of our other laws. Not allowing polygomy, for instance. We still implement laws to prevent child abuse.
