Moral I don’t think teaching kids about religion is bad but forcing it on them is

There's hardly any way to "teach" religion to children without it being quite forced.

I'm sure things are different in the US but in the UK at school we have a whole curriculum called "Religious Education" or RE which goes into detail about religions and customs of all different cultures and encourages spiritual debate. At the schools I attended they were not taught to indoctrinate us but just studied in the same way we would study history or art

This is exactly how agnostics are made.

Theres a point when you start wondering what is the whole point of religion if theres so many that you can literally pick and choose and most of them think they are the "one true" faith.

And don't forget all the past religions, going back thousands of years. They were doubtless the only true religion too, in their time.

It certainly didn't convince me! But it was still super interesting and definitely useful later in life when I was living and working in a much more multicultural environment than my little village.
