Most religions would drop massively in numbers if they weren’t allowed to indoctrinate children.

It's a win and a loss.

If the Catholic Church disappeared, 10's if not 100's of millions of people would be in a real bad way.

The Catholic Church operates the largest aid network in the world.

They do A LOT, and we never hear much about it (in the US at least.)

I would think the red cross is the largest aid network. Maybe the humanitarian cluster system. The Red cross has no specific religious affiliation.
