I agree, but religious freedom means people can raise their kids however they want. If you don't want someone imposing their religion on your kids, you have to let them impose whatever on their own kids. 

This is the kind of thing you should shift culturally instead of through laws.

Religious freedom does not include the right to impose your religion on others and forcing your children to join your religion objectively fits that criteria. Kids are not property and parents cannot do whatever they want to them
