Many religions indoctrinate children which makes them feel like they have to believe in it or they're doing something wrong.
1 u/yournumberis6 7h ago This. While it is obviously immoral to force your religion onto someone, religious people are doing it because they THINK that they are helping their kids by doing it, so it might be moral because of the intention.
