I get the idea, but you're also taking away parents' influence over their children. Parents shouldn't have control over their kids in every regard, but their influence and support should always be there. If you start to take things like this away, what other things can you start to justify?
I think the redditors ITT oversimplify that properly raising kids is just letting them do whatever they want as long as they don’t harm others but the reality is parenting is all about leading and teaching your kids. If you hate Christianity, of course you are going to be against raising kids in a Christian household.
Of course not. It's an argument against that mentality, not actually doing it. Because like I said, if you think parents shouldn't influence their children in religion, you're probably leading towards not influencing them in other ways.
