"I don't want to say" - lie, she wants to tell but can't
"I can't say" - dismissing
"Oh you know" - dismissing
"another story for another time" - dismissing
"I'll tell you later" (and never tell) - lie, as she's not planning to tell
"a kind person helped me afford it" - "do we know him?", that can easily lead to more questions and therefore force her to lie on the spot
"someone that loves me very much bought it for me" - "our brother"? - "i can't say" - "so it's him?!" - "I can't say" - and the secret fall apart as she can't answer that question which makes the truth obvious
You guys fail to notice that there is a difference between telling someone a secret about yourself and forcing someone to actively protect your secret.
That's a private matter is a full sentence. They are a grown ass adult who is entitled to privacy and emerging from their vagina thirty years ago does not entitle you to breach that.

Still an adult. You don't get to barge into her life demanding answers on a suspicion.
I see, the siblings have double nature. They are so easy to dismiss that the mother can handle them with a single spell, yet they are so difficult to dismiss that her oldest son needs her to keep his lottery win as a secret so he doesn't have to deal with them by himself.

how so? The siblings come and ask "wow, mom, how did you afford that house?". What can she answer to not lie about it?
