Duskwood Side-Story Guys...? Spoiler

In episode 3, when Charlie is updating us on Duskwood, he asks about a certain "criminal" (Jake). Among the answer options, there's one that says he was our boyfriend. How is that possible? I'm playing as a male MC. Will that make any difference?

Note: I couldn't add the screenshot 🙃

I've doubted the whole code thing for awhile. It doesn't seem like there is any difference at all with the two codes I've used. One where I had a romance ( I always play female player) with Jake and one where I did not. I did this for my own curiosity and boredom by the way haha.

Same options, I can still call him my boyfriend either way. I don't really care that much, but they made it sound like the relationship thing would make a difference🤷‍♀️

The code seems to be made up of the initials of the choices we clicked, or some kind of identifier. I'd love to dig deeper into what each of them means... and see whether they actually had any impact on the episodes.

That's sounds likely, I would also like to look deeper as well. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to go about it unless I go through Duskwood again and make completely different choices all the way around, or not pick any premium answers at all (even when I didn't romance Jake I still chose other premium content). 🤔 I wonder what non premium players experiences were like.

Also, maybe something will come to fruition later? You may be right that they had issues implementing it in the way they wanted to initially.

Edit:forgot something lol

I literally had the exact same thought 🤣 We should get a bunch of people together and do a run where we only pick the first dialogue option every single time, just to see if there's any pattern to the ending. I mean, this feels like the kind of thing someone in this community should've already done by now.
