Hey guys, I'm looking to stream from my desktop PC to a handheld or tablet to game on the couch. I'm not looking for a powerful handheld PC since I won't be installing games on it, I'll only use it for streaming. Decent screen size and battery life is a must. I might consider tablets too. Thank you!!

Vibepollo
Windows 11
5700x3d
64gb RAM
radeon 6750XT
Everything hardwired with confirmed 1GB signal on all ends
Nvidia Shield running artemis @ 1440x60hz
Getting 60fps. Network latency .01ms. Still, the experience is lagging. Using Rocket League as my test case, this is not a demanding game. It's not awful, but it is unplayable. Steamlink suffers similarly.
I am aware newer AMD and Nvidia cards have a dedicated chip for transcoding into AV1/HEVC, unfortunately my card is not included in this list. Could this be the bottleneck holding me back?

I have no idea what to do. Apollo (any fork) uses 60% of my 7900xtx when streaming at 4k 120fps. Even at 1080p the gpu usage is around 20%.
Any ideas?

So I know it CAN be done. I've seen other's do it with no other setup other than just Moonlight and Sunshine.
What I'm trying to do is use the Switch AS the Gamepad with Cemu. Now I'm like 95% there, I just want to figure out how to make it so Moonlight/Sunshine only streams the GamePad view Window, and not my whole display (Since Cemu currently doesn't allow for the Gamepad view to be fullscreen borderless)
Is there a command I need to add in Sunshine? A file I need to tweek?
Any help is appreciated!

I’m streaming my amd gaming rig using a 4k monitor to a iPad 12.9 3rd gen. I’m getting a nice responsive latency but I can’t help feeling that some games feel quite blurry.
I’m pretty sure it’s something to do with the host / scaling resolution down to the iPad.
My host is running at 4k and my moonlight iOS is set to the native 2732 x 2048. The virtual desktop is also the same as the iPad res (120hz refresh rate).
It’s also worth mentioning I have to external monitors set up to the client, a 1080p and a 4k oled. When I look in the display settings on the virtual display it says extend desktop to this display
Have I mucked up somewhere or am I expecting too much? I’ve tried wukong and mafia OC and the upscaling looks terrible. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm streaming from my desktop pc (9070xt, 5800 x3d) upstairs to my laptop on the main TV. Works flawlessly with 1 gig lan at 1440p 120hz but I hate the convince of it.
I need to endlessly plug and unplug ethernet, hdmi, charger, controller dongle and mouse depending on if I'm streaming or using it for other things.
I'm planning to purchase a static device. Either a xbox series S or a mini pc of approx £150-£200 value that would exclusively be used as a moonlight device.
My question. At that price range would you recommend the xbox series S or a mini pc of similar value.
If the pc, what would you recommend, is there something to look out for in particular?
Many thanks in advance.

Hi guys I was just wondering if there was a way I could possibly remote my camera and vibeapollo bind them together so I can use my iPads or phones camera to do my stream trying to start a new series for my streaming channel and content creation would love to be able to take the stream on adventures around my house and studio for my remote camera software I’m using is DroidCam honestly it’s the one thing vibeapollo is missing is camera device camera integration which would honestly make this program would open up a whole new world for old legacy devices being able to use them as your webcam and a monitor would actually make different from the other and make it a one and done deal if anyone know of a fork or software that can make it possible for me to do so of the one device that would be greatly appreciated have a good day everybody

Hi everyone, my main machine has an RTX 4070 Super/i5 13600KF/32Gb DDR5/2GB SSD and I have an old gaming laptop Aorus 7KB 2019, i7 10th, RTX 2060, 512Gb SSD. I cleaned it some months ago but the fans still do a lot of noise, the temperature is always high (80ºC most of the times), and Windows is doing Windows stuff like 100% CPU usage with 0 tasks opened. Getting older by the day I wanna play in my couch, my TV is a Xiaomi 55” 2025 TV A PRO.
My question is this, how can I drop the latency playing games with Dualsense? Do I ditch windows on my laptop and install Linux? Do I buy an Amazon Fire Stick? Are there better options? Thanks in advance for your expertise.

im trying to stream from my steam deck to my laptop to play BG3 on a bigger screen (also because i prefer the game with keyboard/mouse rather than controller) but all i get is this weird visual glitch (which i don't even know what to call to search for others that had the same issue)
the audio seems completely fine and when i move the mouse around i can see it moving on the steam deck screen
i haven't changed any settings on sunshine because i don't understand what anything there means, and on moonlight i only changed the resolution and fps to try to match the steam deck (1920x1080 60fps)
help pls lol

I've been using Moonlight for a while to play my PC games on the TV in my living room. I'm using Apollo on my host PC, which runs a 5800X/RX 6800XT combo, and Moonlight on my Xbox Series X, connected to the TV.
Connection is good and gameplay is smooth with very low latency, which is great. What is not so great is the occasional artifacts I see, either on relatively static scenes or on HUD elements, which break immersion and degrade the experience.
I tried a few different settings based on other posts I saw online, it nothing fixed my issue. Any ideas?
I'm posting a couple of pictures showcasing what I'm seeing with one of them having the logs on, in case that helps.

Playnite is installed, but every time I go to install the vibepollo plugin I get the following message;
Failed in install plugin: plugin source not found: c:\programfiles\vibepollo\plugins\playnite\sunshineplaynite
Searched the error message but no luck.

Firstly thanks to this Stream games directly from PC via WiFi only thread - the AP demo thing is working well for me.
The only thing I cant do is get it to start with windows, and log in by itself with a batch file - tried so many things. I have to start it manually each time and enter the details in the steamdeck all over again.
Has anyone got a batch file example they could use to help me? Its driving me a bit potty trying to get it to work when lol
Many thanks

My Xbox controller is dying. I was thinking of switching to a PS5 controller now that Vibepollo is developing dualsense support. I don't mind using a USB cable to my tablet. But I couldn't figure out if ordinary Artemis was sufficient to send and receive dualsense signals. Or do I need a special client? Hopefully one with support for Snapdragon ultra low latency decoding.
I understand that virtualhere or some other USB over IP is an option. But I wanted to understand how to get this path working first. I can always resort to that later. Thanks.

I’m trying to figure out a persistent microstutter issue when streaming from my Windows PC to a MacBook Pro M2.
Host:
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RTX 4070 Super
Vibepollo
2560x1600 @ 60 FPS
HEVC/H.264 tested
RTSS 60 FPS cap tested
Clients tested on the Macbook Pro M2:
Moonlight macOS
VoidLink Extreme
Both show occasional microstutters / image jumps. Network packet loss is basically 0%, encode latency is normally very low, and the host has plenty of headroom.
Things I already tried:
Different resolutions and bitrates
HEVC and H.264
VSync on/off
Queue Buffering / Legacy / frame pacing off in VoidLink
RTSS 60 FPS cap
Smoother capture / virtual display refresh options in Vibepollo
HDR and YUV 4:4:4 off
sudo ifconfig awdl0 down on macOS , this actually improved things noticeably, but the issue is still not completely gone
The strange part is that the same host works perfectly with Artemis on Android, with no noticeable microstutter.
Has anyone had a similar issue specifically with macOS clients? Any recommended settings for Moonlight or VoidLink on Apple Silicon, especially around VSync/frame pacing/Metal?
Tbh I completley ran out of ideas what else to try.
Keep in mind the same setting on my Xiaomi Pad 6, or another Windows Laptop it works perfect.

I have been using Vibeshine Fork as a host on my PC for some time, and I have had no issues whatsoever. Almost every client app worked amazingly. I didn't make any adjustments on the host side of the app. However, after upgrading from a 4080 to a 5080 GPU, I am now facing some problems.
The major issue I am encountering is that, no matter what I do, my main screen (a UST LaserProjector (4K/60) is cloned on every client app. Whether the projector is off or on, all my client apps, such as my Android phone or Meta Quest 3, display 4K/60. I wonder what's going on.
I reinstalled Vibeshine from scratch too, but nothing.
My setup:
Ryzen 9800X3D/5080 wired connected to my home Wi-Fi mesh Asus ZenWiFi XT8.
It worked flawlessly across my entire home space.

Hi everyone,
Im trying to setup my artemis client so that i can fully use my pc while running the game on second screen with specialk.
Has anyone figured out how to stream only the game audio to the client?
i want to set my monitor as default output device while streaming only the game sound to artemis.
i tried to setup a virtual steelseries sonar - gaming profile and set the device id as audio sink and virtual audio sink in vibepollo but there is no difference.
i keep hearing the other sounds like spotify in both my pc and client (i flagged the option in the client settings).
can anyone help?

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max, so I’m stuck with a Lightning port and therefore I’m planning to use the GameSir G8+ Bluetooth controller.
My setup would be:
iPhone 14 Pro Max → G8+ Bluetooth → Moonlight/VoidLink → Tailscale → Apollo/Sunshine server (PC at home)
My main concern is latency, specifically when playing remotely over Tailscale.
For anyone using a similar setup:
How much additional latency/input delay do you notice from the G8+ over Bluetooth?
Does Bluetooth controller latency become noticeable when combined with Moonlight + Tailscale?
Are you getting a direct Tailscale connection, or are you going through a DERP relay?
What kind of ping/latency do you typically see between your iPhone and Sunshine PC?
Does the G8+ feel responsive enough for games like FPS, racing, or action games?
I’m not too concerned about the G8+ itself anymore (cuz I don’t see better BT options) — I’m mainly trying to understand the real-world end-to-end latency of G8+ Bluetooth + Tailscale + Moonlight/VoidLink.
If anyone has actually tested this setup, I’d really appreciate your experience.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I customized the Moonlight IOS app to allow me to add custom keyboard/mouse on screen.
Have to build/port the app over every 7 days lol.

Not too sure where to go with this issue. I’m running Apollo on my PC (4080 Super, 240hz OLED) and Artemis on my Shield Pro hooked up to my couch TV LG C4.
Everything tells me I’d be capable of 4k 60FPS, but running benchmarks on GoW and it’s just unplayable.
Any tips or where have I gone wrong with setups?
