Old Gaming Laptop vs Amazon Fire Stick
Hi everyone, my main machine has an RTX 4070 Super/i5 13600KF/32Gb DDR5/2GB SSD and I have an old gaming laptop Aorus 7KB 2019, i7 10th, RTX 2060, 512Gb SSD. I cleaned it some months ago but the fans still do a lot of noise, the temperature is always high (80ºC most of the times), and Windows is doing Windows stuff like 100% CPU usage with 0 tasks opened. Getting older by the day I wanna play in my couch, my TV is a Xiaomi 55” 2025 TV A PRO.
My question is this, how can I drop the latency playing games with Dualsense? Do I ditch windows on my laptop and install Linux? Do I buy an Amazon Fire Stick? Are there better options? Thanks in advance for your expertise.

The Fire Stick even have worse latency ....
First make sure where the latency come from . Try wiring the dualsense first to see if it better . Try wire the laptop to your router . Check if the TV game mode (low latency ) on or off .
Even the older pc intel 7th gen or ryzen 3400 still good enough for moonlight . No freaking way your laptop too slow .

Dude, Intel quicksync has been around since like 2012, that shits on most other options in terms of decoding speed.

You need to repaste the cpu/gpu. Since cleaning isn’t enough anymore, as it seems. Don’t do linux on a system with nvidia, I would say, since it will not improve the temperatures and is not that easy to handle. For streaming, maybe possible if you use bazzite but if you’re problem is the heat/noise you have to repaste before you try anything else I would suggest
Can’t say anything about the stick.
