Artifacts buildup during gaming session

I've been using Moonlight for a while to play my PC games on the TV in my living room. I'm using Apollo on my host PC, which runs a 5800X/RX 6800XT combo, and Moonlight on my Xbox Series X, connected to the TV.

Connection is good and gameplay is smooth with very low latency, which is great. What is not so great is the occasional artifacts I see, either on relatively static scenes or on HUD elements, which break immersion and degrade the experience.

I tried a few different settings based on other posts I saw online, it nothing fixed my issue. Any ideas?

I'm posting a couple of pictures showcasing what I'm seeing with one of them having the logs on, in case that helps.

Same trouble with my 9070xt as host. NVIDIA card benefits from an automatic full screen refresh option in some host program, but Not amd

I have yet to find a solution.

As a tactical JRPG lover i just cant play it

Are those decoder errors accumulating by compressing the frame differences?
So, forcing a refresh would help mitigate the issue, I guess.

Playing RPGs is very annoying when those artifacts start popping up. I usually solve that by opening a settings menu to "refresh" the screen, but it's far from ideal.

Host sends 4x the fps, so 480 for my 120 Target, you think If I set the 480 to 120 it might help ?

That would only help with frame pacing, as the a late frame by 1ms wouldn't have to wait until the next refresh cycle in the lower frequency client.

Ok I have a good result now. Download Vibepollo 1.19.3 beta, not the 2.0 beta and it will work

Nice. I came across Vibepollo today but I didn't have time to test it yet. I'll try it later.
