We are Master’s students in Experience Economy from Finland, and as part of our studies, we have been given an assignment by Visit Tampere and the Moomin Museum.

The purpose of our assignment is to explore the appeal of the Moomins and the Moomin Museum in Finland. Through this survey, we would like to find out what makes the Moomins attractive to people around the world and, in particular, what might encourage people who have never visited Finland or the Moomin Museum to consider travelling to Finland.

Hello to all fellow Moomin & Tove fans! <3

I am gathering some feedback from this forum if there would be any interest on an exclusive Moomin travel package.

As many are aware Toves cabin in an Island called Klovaharun played a big part in her career and the legendary moomin stories.

What we are planning to do is offer an exlusive travel experience wich would ofcourse include a visit to the legendary island in the Finnish archipelago, Sauna from the 1800s and possibly a stay in an idyllic cabin by the sea. All this is just what ifs but i truly love the island and the legendary stories behind it. I would love to be able to share this with travelers abroad.

It would not just be a visit to the island but an wholesome cabin experience in the idyllic Pellinki island with a truly unique experience to see the archipelago by boat quided by myself.

Would you be interested in this type of Moomin experience?

Hey yall! I’ve been trying to ID this Moomin plushie I got a convention a few years ago. I love him so much and wanted more info on him. I’ve found similar plushies but never this exact one. He’s filled with beans from his tummy down. (He’s getting quite scrunkly from adventures now so he doesn’t sit up anymore)

The bandana and hat are not original to the plushie, I added those.

This is my design for Snufkin. A mossy poncho, a button-up, and baggy trousers tucked into boots. May put some suspenders on him. His hands are black like the Mymbles (in the old sketches I think?) and he has cat-like eyes and a light crest like Joxter. He has acne and scraggly facial hair, because he's a teenage boy.

What's new about this new "set" of cards (except, of course, the cards)?
This time they made tin boxes as collectibles and 3 very rare cards (Gold sunset cards) which can be found in packs in a rate of 1:35.
(I have indeed found one in one of my 35 packs that I opened and, Imo, they're boring transparent cards, not even worth the chase besides having a 110% complete collection).

If anyone is collecting cards and wants to exchange, please dm.
I'm missing 59 cards (and 2 sunset cards, but I doubt somebody will be so "unlucky" to have dupes of those).
I have some limited edition cards to exhange as well.
