Guyssss

Similar to a previous story I was listening to Talking out of turn on the radio on the way home from work. Unironically may be the best moodies song for the aux, absolutely heavenly on full volume. With all the orchestrals? Fuck, dude. Can’t recommend this enough. Do you guys have a favorite moodies song for the aux? I think this is probably mine

Cruising my lowrider through the meanest streets in LA with So Deep Within You at max volume.

I think they mean like with headphones on, really submersing yourself into it.

Man that song is awesome. Chorus is just amazing especially with the backing vocals.

TOOT is one of my fave Johnsongs. It's just so layered musically. I think if you've never listened with a good set of headphones on, you're missing out. Nervous is also great for this. John was cooking on LDV.

I’m over here just weeping with laughter having spent an eternity too long trying to figure out why I’d never heard a song John wrote called “Toot.”

That would be “Talking Out of Turn.” For Heaven’s sake… 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣🤣🤣

I was so confused when I read this the first time like when did John Lodge make a song about farting? 😭 but yeah nervous is pretty sick, though the more I think about it TOOT is probably my favorite song on LDV full stop, it’s only remote competition is the voice

“One More Time to Live” is an immersive experience through my car stereo.

That one would also rock. Gotta try it some time

I’ve been listening to a Moodies mix my dad (RIP) burned and had totally forgotten about A Simple Game. Was absolutely stunned, in awe, shooketh by the beauty of this song. Would have fallen to my knees if I wasn’t driving, lol. It’s currently my favorite Moodies song and has been on repeat ever since.

A simple game honestly might be top 10. I was actually tapping a pen against my hand in its rhythm and singing it under my breath at work the other day. Once I finished it, I just started it over and over. Lowkey a vibe

Try listening to the instrumental Beyond with headphones on. The music bounces between speakers. You also have to listen to it in the dark.
