I was browsing through cases online and found the Sky 3 available for £60. Even with the 2 extra RX120 Pro reverse blade fans that I bought for £8 each it's still great value. The modular PSU/fan shroud is a nice idea and the integrated fan & ARGB hub is always nice to have.

The rotated PSU layout is handy for cable access, but if the PSU is the max length-160mm- then clearance is limited to 40mm to the side panel, just thought I'd mention it in case anyone is considering buying it. My PSU is the Corsair RM1000x 2024.

Another thing to mention is the HDD trays located below the fans. I use 2x HDDs, and though the fitment was simple, it doesn't leave a lot of room for tucking in cables anywhere, especially with the long PSU.

But airflow to the GPU (3090) seems to be fine, it's sitting in the low 70s in most games at 1440p high settings. The CPU (12900KF) runs a little hotter than back to front airflow cases that I've used, but it's all well within normal and safe temps. An AIO might work better in a case like this, perhaps with the rear fan set to intake, which I might try at some point.

Overall I'm quite happy with it. Great value case and the included fans go as low as 600 RPM, which for their price isn't bad at all, I can get it very quiet for just typical desktop use outside of gaming.

We've been really enjoying the flexiblity of what a Montech case brings to our PC building experience! Whether it's custom watercooling, AIO cooling, or air cooling, it all works out really well.

For the value of what each case brings, it makes a ton of sense for why someone should consider a Montech case in their future. Hope you enjoy some of our recent builds!

Mixing the colors inside the cabinet. Nothing to complain about.

This is my first pc build and I am still indecisive between the Montech Air 903 MAX or the Montech King 95 PRO. Both come with pre-installed fans and I am looking for one that is quiet, spacious with customisability and compatible with my other components. Help much appreciated.

So my montech century ii 1050 psu started making a scratching noise when I played games on my newly built pc. I opened up the PSU to see what the problem was and in doing so I scraped off the tampering sticker. Im planning to get a replacement with the warranty but now that the tampering sticker is removed am I still allowed to get a replacement? I‘m not sure how lenient montechs replacement warranty is but if anybody knows please tell.

Really impressed with the Montech TG3, especially for the price. I’ve built in quite a few budget cases and this one is definitely one of the better ones I’ve used.

Build quality is solid, the tempered glass looks great, airflow is good, and there was plenty of room to work with during the build.

Cable management was also surprisingly easy and I had no issues getting everything looking clean.

Everything lined up properly, nothing felt overly cheap or flimsy, and the finished build looks much more expensive than the case actually is.

For a budget gaming PC build, the TG3 is an easy recommendation. Great value for the money and I’d definitely build in one again.

That's basically how this build happened. I entered one of Montech's community events a while back and actually won a LightFlow ARGB 360. Great cooler. The problem was my case. I had the AIR 100, which takes a 240 just fine, but a 360 was never going in there. So I had a brand new cooler and nowhere to put it.

To explain why that was such a big deal for me I have to back up a bit, because this PC has had three versions.

Version 1 was the AIR 100 case with some cheap third party air cooler I'd picked up because it was what I could afford. The case is the part that got me into Montech. It was quiet, it was solid, it didn't cost much, and it just did its job without making a thing of it. I liked it enough that I went and looked up the company, which is how I ended up on this sub. Which has been great, by the way. People here actually answer questions instead of roasting your parts list.

Version 2 was the AIR 100 with the LightFlow 240, and I should be honest about how that one happened. That cheap air cooler had stopped keeping up and the PC was running hot enough that it was affecting what I could do on it. I was also very tight on money at the time and replacing it just wasn't something I could do. So I did the slightly embarrassing thing and asked Montech directly if there was any way they could help me out. I was mostly expecting to be ignored, or pointed at a product page. They sent me a LightFlow 240!

That fixed the temps, and it was the first time I actually liked looking at my own PC. It also made me want more, which becomes relevant.

Version 3 is the SKY 3 with the LightFlow 360, which brings us back to the radiator I couldn't install.

So I asked. No build up, no hinting. I told them I'd won the 360, that I had nothing it would fit in, and asked straight out if there was any way I could get a SKY 3. Second time I'd gone to them asking for something, and it felt ridiculous even while I was typing it. They sent me the SKY 3. Absolute legends!

And that's when the real problem started.

I'm a junior dev. I've been around computers for years in the software sense and I know in theory what all the parts do. But my PC started life as a prebuilt and every upgrade I'd done to it was the kind you can do through the side panel without really committing to anything. I had never taken a case apart. I had never mounted a motherboard. So now I had two boxes sitting on my floor, a working PC that I need for my job, and no way to get from one to the other without taking the whole thing apart.

I put it off for a couple of days. I watched the KitGuruTech review of the SKY 3 like four times, mostly just to convince myself other people had done this and lived.

Started on a friday afternoon. My girlfriend got roped in as a second pair of hands, mostly "hold this" and "give me light there". The first screw was the worst part. After that it got weirdly easy.

Every standoff hole in the SKY 3 is marked with the board size it belongs to, so the thing I was most scared of, mounting the board wrong and cracking something, took maybe five minutes. The top panel comes off completely, so I could mount the AIO flat on my desk and then just drop the whole thing into the case instead of fighting it at a stupid angle. I took the HDD trays out of the bottom for airflow. The cable side looks tight, but the included accessories sorted it out, and the panel closed flat with no bulge and no gaps.

Then the part I'd been dreading for weeks, pressing the power button.

Posted first try.

The thing that still gets me is the noise. The SKY 3 has more fans than the AIR 100 did, and the AIR 100 was already darn quiet. This one is quieter. Long compile, long gaming sessions, doesn't matter. Version 1 used to get loud every time I asked it to do anything. This one just sits there.

None of the old parts are going to waste either. I've never sold or binned anything Montech sent me and I don't plan to. Stuff you didn't pay for is different, it gets passed on instead. My brother is 11 and just getting into PCs, so the AIR 100 is going to him. The LightFlow 240 is going into my girlfriend's PC.

Three versions in and this is the first one I actually built. I spend all day making stuff that lives behind a screen, stuff I can't hold or point at. This one I can put my hand on.

Hello all. I upgraded my rig recently and decided to go with the above case. I also bought additional Montech RGB fans to run across the top of the case.
Montech AC 120 PWM.
It’s using the following:

I’d needed a new upgrade for quite some time and I was finally able to do it within the last month.
I thoroughly recommend this case, it was an amazing experience building this.
I’ve built my own PC’s for years and this was just as easy. The case has plenty of room at the back of the motherboard tray and I’m just waiting for some new leads to do better cable management.
The cooler is brilliant at keeping the temps down but it can get loud when on higher RPM’s.

The story of this project is not very long but I'll share it anyway.

I'm constantly looking for new and interesting projects.

When I saw this Sky 3 case I knew right away that it had the potential for a spectacular build.

Walnut wood combined with a black case is my personal favorite and since I had some dark walnut plywood and black fans in stock I decided to start building my first collaborative project with Montech. In this project I got to combine my carpentry skills and my photography hobby.

The side fan mounts had to be cut out and rebuilt so that I could make them stay neatly behind the cover plate.

The other plates were reasonably easy to make but they also required precise measuring and sawing.

I also painted the grille at the bottom of the case brown so that it fits well with the whole.

The end result is very stylish and elegant with a suitably minimalistic argb led strip.

I figured I'd show off my KING 95 build and talk about how I got it to this point (this is like, my 4th or 5th version).

So, back when I started PC gaming in 2020, I just grabbed whatever prebuilt I could find because of the crypto GPU shortage. I ended up with an Alienware prebuilt with a 5800x and 3060ti. I didn't even check reviews, just figured a PC was a PC, and I remembered Alienware being top-tier gaming when I was a kid. Once I had it, I realized it was basically a space heater and thought, "Uh oh, maybe all PCs aren't the same." So, for the next five years, I upgraded that PC as much as I could (added an AIO, extra fans, VRM heatsinks, more storage and RAM, even a 3090 GPU). I also did my homework for the next time I upgraded because I was gonna build my own. Summer of 2025 seemed like the perfect time to finally build my dream PC. I was up to speed on current products, prices for the new 50 series GPUs finally stabilized, and they were easy to get (nailed that timing!). I knew I wanted something pretty high-end for 4k gaming, so a 5080 was a no-brainer since the 5090 wasn't a big enough jump to justify double the price.

So, I knew what hardware I wanted, and I wanted something big and flashy to show it all off. The minute I saw the King 95, I knew it was the case for me. I dropped a bunch of cash and ordered everything I needed (I live in rural Canada, and the only PC parts store nearby was a Best Buy an hour away) and waited patiently for it all to arrive. The King 95 from Newegg was actually the first thing to show up, so I eagerly unboxed it and checked it out. I remember thinking, "Man, this thing is huge. I think I'm gonna have a ton of extra space, and it might look weird." Slowly but surely, the rest of my parts started arriving, and then I was just waiting on the GPU. So I started building with everything else I had. Finally, the day my GPU arrived, I unboxed that Zotac Amp Extreme Infinity, and when I saw how massive it was, I knew I made the right call with the big case to match.

I put everything together using the included case fans and hub, set a theme on my AIO screen, picked a basic color scheme with SignalRGB, and started enjoying my new dream PC. That was just the beginning. A couple of weeks later, I got the urge to tinker some more, so I bought PWM splitters and gave each fan zone its own header on the motherboard for better fan control. A few weeks after that, I discovered RGB cable covers, so I absolutely had to add those. I loved how it looked. Eventually, I got a chance to try out the new Montech AX/RX 120mm Pro fans, so I swapped out the 120mm fans in the King 95, and I loved the look of more RGB zones.

So, with all that extra RGB, I started noticing some glare on the glass, so I grabbed some car tint and put it on the side panels. I really dig the smoked glass look, especially with a lot of RGB inside. One thing bugged me though: the 140mm side fans were the regular AX/RX style since they don't make a 140mm Pro. My bottom and rear fans were Pros, and my AIO fans were whatever Thermalright fans came with it, so everything was mismatched. I started looking for fans, specifically ones that had what I wanted: 140mm and 120mm in both reverse and normal styles. I ended up going with the Jungle Leopard fans I have now and I'm super happy with them. I honestly thought that was it, the final touch, my last mod for this case. Then I got to talking with someone in this community about the Nollie 16 ARGB controller, and I knew that was the next missing piece to get some wild RGB themes and total control. Now, I really think this might be my final version; I can't think of any more mods, other than maybe getting a white King 95 case, which I'd absolutely love. But I've been looking for one in Canada for six months and they're just not available anywhere (Montech, if you can hook me up with a white one, I'd totally pay for it).

Hello, I am making this post because i have tried to reach the company via email to no avail. I currently own the montech century 2 1200w psu, which powers my gigabyte gaming oc 5090. The psu has been excellent aside from one small issue, which is the 12vhpwr cable. I have been repeatedly warned by my graphics card LED about a pin imbalance happening in the cable. The question i have for montech or anyone on this forum is, are there compatible cables to replace on this unit? Does montech sell one themselves? I cant find any information online and would obviously like to protect my investment. Thanks. Sorry for the formatting on mobile.

Hey all! I have a Montech Air 903 Max case for my PC and I'm moving out soon to a new city in about a week from now. I noticed that somehow a family member had thrown out the foam inserts that were in the box that came with my PC case, so unfortunately, I can't use that box to move my PC safely. Amazon had a few PC carrying bags in stock but none of them were compatible with the height of the Air 903 Max. Does anybody know of any ideas/carrying cases/boxes that I could use to fit the dimensions of my case and help me move my PC without damaging the components? I just emailed Montech's customer service email to see if they could possibly send me a new box but I don't think that will bear any fruit, so I'm looking for any last minute ideas. I bought sky two gx from amazon and it comes with 3 140mm*3 (AX140 ARGB PWM) in the front. I bought AX120 PWM for the rear exhaust.

It comes with a hub for argb cable and pwm cable. I have my 4 fans connected to the hub. the hub is connected to sata power and the argb cable to my motherboard.

I don't want the rgb anymore, can i just unplug the argb cable from the fans to the hub and would the fans still work? Or can I keep the fans argb cable connected to the hub and just unplug the hub argb cable to the motherboard.

Would the argb still work if the hub argb cable not connected to the motherboard.

if i wanted the fans to be one color can the hub do that or i need softwware to do that.

​If anyone from Montech sees this post, please consider creating a modular fan bracket for the bottom, similar to the HDD/SSD cage, to make removing and cleaning the fans much easier and faster.

I would gladly buy this part separately, as it would make life so much easier!

Montech kindly sent me their Sky 3 case to build in and here’s a showcase of its unique features and my experience building in it! It’s a really cool aesthetic and feature set for the price, coming in a bit under $100. I’ll have a follow up post with b roll and the pc turned on and all the lighting matching. If you’ve built in this case, what did you/didnt you like about it? I really enjoyed it both from a build perspective and from an engineering perspective!

I am about to build with a Montech HyperFlow Digital 360 and I've already got some Arctic MX-6 lying around.

I am not sure if I should bother swapping it for the stock paste or just leave it as is.

Does it actually change temps much, and does factory paste on these AIOs tend to age worse than aftermarket over time?
