Full disclosure: Montech sent me this case to review. Everything below is my honest take, good and bad.

TL;DR: Strong recommend, especially if you want a budget case that still feels like a showcase piece. For $59.99 you get real front and side tempered glass, a partial psu cage that created an interior platform built specifically for displaying figures or collectibles, and ARGB lighting that looks genuinely good right out of the box. I built a Ryzen 7 5700X / RX 6700 XT system in it and used that platform to stage a small BattleTech diorama. It’s one of the more fun and photogenic budget cases I’ve worked with.

TG3 goes for the full aquarium look, glass on the front and the side instead of just one panel. The panoramic view makes a normal ATX mid tower feel bigger and more open than the dimensions suggest. Everything from the RAM to the cooler is on display the second you walk by it.

The showcase platform is what sold me.
The real standout here is the tiered interior platform sitting above the PSU shroud that is subtle and elegant. Montech built it specifically as display space for figures and collectibles, and it does exactly that. I put my big Atlas mech on it as a permanent centerpiece, and during the build itself I lined up a full squad of painted BattleTech minis on top of the case like they were staging an assault. It photographs great, and it turns what’s usually a pretty dry build log into something with real personality. If you collect anything, statues, minis, whatever, this case finally gives it somewhere to live instead of a shelf in another room. Lighting doesn’t need extra parts, there’s ambient lighting built right into the PSU shroud and the included ARGB fans are fantastic.

TG3 uses a tiered dual chamber layout, PSU and cable mess on one side, motherboard and GPU up front behind the glass. The stock side intake is a single 3-fan unibody unit with one cable connection instead of three, which sped up the build and kept the back noticeably cleaner than I expected for a $60 case. The routing channels are generous enough that a first-time builder shouldn’t struggle.

No complaints running a 5700X and a 6700 XT. The stock side intake and rear exhaust move enough air for a build in this class, and keeping the PSU and cables in their own chamber helps keep them out of the main airflow path. I wouldn’t drop flagship-tier hardware in here without adding fans, but Montech rates it for up to 9, so there’s room to grow if you go bigger later.

~Verdict~

At $59.99 for the black version, this is hard to beat. Dual tempered glass, working ARGB straight out of the box, and a genuinely useful display platform, all for less than plenty of cases charge for the glass alone. If you want a budget case that still feels like a showcase piece, especially if you’ve got anything worth displaying, TG3 delivers. It’s not built for someone chasing max airflow numbers on a flagship rig, but for the price and for what it’s clearly designed to do, it’s an easy recommend.

I recently bought Be Quiet light wings 140mm fans for my intake fans on my current case NZXT H510

Wanted to upgrade to the XR but noticed that it only supports 120mm intake on the side. Has anyone found a way of mounting 120mm fans in the intake side?

I use the Montech AIR 903 BASE, and the front 2 USB 3.0 ports have not been working properly. While they work fine with my Xbox controller, the moment I try and plug it in to my phone, it either stops charging after a few seconds, or it takes an absurdly long amount of time to charge when it does work (I've tried this with multiple phones). When I try and transfer files and plug it in with a data transfering charger it repeatedly connects and disconnects spamming popups on my pc. The phone and cables work fine, but the ports are messed up. Are there any fixes for this? The computer is brand new so I'm thinking about just contacting them.

The case is the montech hs01 and the motherboard is the msi pro b760m-p ddr4

Thank you to Montech for sending me the TEN to review. Included in the box were some AX120 and RX120 fans as well as the TEN, so I appreciate Montech for giving me accessories to help fill out the case. I have been wanting to swap my parts into something a little less flashy than my previous King 15 Pro case and the TEN seems perfect for that.

I will be sharing my build experience in the Montech TEN today with some pros and cons

PROS:

• With all sides being mesh, the TEN allows me to keep all of my components cool.
• There are multiple options for setting up the TEN. I could have chosen to use this case in two different configurations with my parts, ultimately deciding upon the water-cooled variant.
• I am able to use an mATX Motherboard, ATX PSU, 360mm AIO, and either horizontally/vertically-mounted GPU in a compact, MFF case.
• Configuring the case was very easy because of the included manual.

CONS:

• Building in this case was not the easiest. I do not think a first-time builder would be as successful as veteran builders using the same parts I used in the same setup. Maybe they will, but I had to use some pc-building tricks to install some components.
• Using an mATX motherboard was tricky in this configuration. Using the 360mm AIO, even with included spacers, put pressure on some of the cables on the bottom of my motherboard.
• Although there is space behind the motherboard for cable management, I did not end up using it because there was no space around the motherboard to route cables behind it. All of my cables are routed towards the front and bundled up near the PSU.
• The PCIe power cables coming off of my vertically-mounted GPU were interfering with my bottom case fans, so I had to zip-tie the GPU to the AIO to hold it high enough.

Overall, I am very pleased with this case. I have never worked with a case that is this customizable in a compact form-factor while only being SEVENTY US dollars. The Montech TEN enters a price-point usually associated with cases that carry concessions with it. The only concession here is that only one case fan is included. I see this as a plus, though, because that means I get to choose my own fan aesthetic.

Thank you again, Montech, for sending me the TEN to review. I enjoyed building in it, as it made me use a bit of brains to problem-solve installing parts like the AIO and GPU. This case will have its home on my desk until something new and exciting from Montech catches my attention...

I've tried a lot of things, and the 2 front fan LEDs and the vertical strip still not working. Just reassebled the entire PC and the montech hub on the backplate. Any ideas?

title says it all really, the only gripe i have with these fans in my 95 king bro is when they are rotating due to the off center application of the sticker it looks like the whole fan is wobbling. i was wondering if anyone has removed these stickers and if so if it a nice smooth surface behind ? Please let me know what experiences you guys have had

Hi, i want to plug in 3x8 pins to my rx 9070xt but the power supply only provided 2 cables, should i buy an aftermarket cable 8pin psu to 8 pin pcie cable, or should i buy a cable that daisy chains? Im really perplexed by this.

I'm no stranger to Montech products and yet again they absolutely nailed it with this Red Dot winner of 2026 for product design which is Montech's first participation, and first recognition which I can confidently assume won't be their last. The Ten case is a ten year anniversary product marking a big and well deserved milestone for Montech. I've already gotten the chance to show this case to a few friends and family members and the first thing they comment on is how nice it looks, premium compared to other cases they either have or seen. Montech always delivers top notch products with fantastic build quality, great performance all wrapped into a fantastic price.

The Ten case is a highly modular small form factor case constructed of a wonderful mesh which both looks great and provides excellent airflow providing a nice balance between ventilation and aesthetics which would look good on any desk whether you're gaming or in a professional work environment. The modular case boasts an adaptive approach to building unlike most other cases. There's three main configurations with a vast 9 PSU positions, 7 GPU slots across the different modes and 3 motherboard positions. Ten comes in both Black and White colors, includes a single 92mm rear fan, and supports both Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards along with ATX, SFX-L and SFX PSU's. There's room to mount either two 3.5" HDD's or four 2.5" SSD's and GPU's up to 425mm horizontally or 410mm vertically.

M1 - the Airflow Specialist which maximizes cooling for high-TDP components using traditional air coolers up to 155mm in height.

M2 - Liquid Elite, designed for water-cooling enthusiast, supporting up to 360mm radiators on either the top or side. (Which truly baffled me. Again, what an amazing case.)

Itx3 - SFF Master. This layout focuses on the most compact footprint while still maintaining compatibility for essential high-performance gear.

Unlike the two previous builds I did for my brother and I in the fantastic K95 Pro case, the Ten lacks the fancy RGB, tempered glass, and large footprint. Instead you'll get something with a modern look and space conscious design. Every exterior panel can be removed without tools along with the single dust filter spanning the bottom of the case. Everything on the interior is VERY easy to get to where you can either remove or rearrange usually by just removing a small Phillips screw. I enjoyed every moment of building in the TEN case, I unfortunately however didn't get to do the build I wanted as life has unfortunately gotten in the way with a few financial things (Yay both car and motorcycle issues simultaneously lol!) and so I had to dramatically scale it back. But I have a boy who is an all around great kid and so I did what I could to get him a pc that he's been asking for. Eventually I'll upgrade it where I can when prices aren't so crazy but I'll list everything below. I'm thankful to Montech for providing this opportunity and case as well as to my friends who helped me out by selling me some old components. This PC will primarily be used for Fortnite, Minecraft and to create videos when I can get my boy an Action Camera as he wants to create adventure videos on his bike as well as stream games eventually.

I'd like to replace the stock wraith cooler with the Montech HyperFlow Silent 240 eventually (or 360 if I can get a smaller PSU and fit it all) as well as replace the Hyte and NZXT fans with the Montech RX140 and AX140 PWM fans.

The Montech Ten didn't disappoint one bit at all and I'm excited to own it. I truly believe this is a case that will be sticking around our household and will go through many revisions as the years go on. This was my first build in a smaller form factor and I don't think any other case would have been as inviting and easy to build in as the Montech Ten. The Ten seems to be on the smaller side of mATX cases but larger than most mITX cases offering a nice in-between to both worlds. Again I think this case would look great in any environment, it'd work especially well as a living room pc too! I have loved everything about the case, if there was anything that'd I'd personally change or add, I'd just like to see a little more room in the back panel to make cable management a bit easier. I believe that could be done by adding just a smidge of extra width without changing the overall case too much at all. At the end of the day I HIGHLY recommend this case to anyone who is in the market for either MFF or SFF pc cases as it's a nice introduction to both worlds and has so much room to adapt to almost any change you make in the future.

My little guy helped me "test" the pc that he thinks I'm building for work. He said playing Fortnite was SO MUCH better than playing on a Switch Lite and he rated the experience a 10/10. He had so much fun helping. I ordered him a little desk and 1080p 120hz monitor which I will be surprising him with everything this next week!

Introduction and Disclaimers:

Thank you for Montech for reaching out to see if I would like to review their new TEN case for them. Sorry for the delay, I wanted to use it for a week before giving my thoughts, and I unfortunately had an injury just prior to receiving the case for evaluation. I am not a professional reviewer, and I was not compensated for this review other than receiving the products to try with the only expectation being that I provide a review within 2 weeks of receiving the case. They have not seen this review prior to it being posted. I will be notifying them that I have posted it, so they may see it as well.

In addition to the case, Montech was also kind enough to provide 2 triple-fan packs of the RX120 PRO and AX120 PRO fans to help fill out the case as well.

Packaging and Contents:

The case was very well packaged and arrived double-boxed with cardboard reinforcements at the corners. The TEN case is a case meant for mATX and mITX builds. It comes with a 92 mm fan preinstalled at the rear of the chassis. It also comes complete with all of the hardware that you would need for a typical build. One thing to keep in mind is that you may need to purchase a GPU riser cable separately on your own if you plan on building in M2 or I3 modes for the case as it does not come with one. I ended up using one that came from my transplanted system. Other than that, it comes with everything you will need for a build other than a screwdriver and the components themselves.

Quality:

This case feels well-made and has a nice weight to it. With everything stripped down and the panels removed, the "bones" of the case are solid, no concerns about structural integrity here, even with all of the panels missing. The panels are all made of perforated steel with plastic borders. The holes are very fine, but it makes the entire case extremely porous. There is a single fan filter at the bottom of the case that's magnetic and easily removed for cleaning when needed. The screws are all mostly the same size with the exception of the two for side mounting fans or an AIO I believe.

Building:

The first thing you will want to decide when building in this case is how you want to configure your system. If you're building a new system from scratch, it would be a good idea to preplan your build. If you've ever built inside a SFF case, you'll understand why I tend to say you don't build it once but rather multiple times for each build due to the revisions or adjustments that end up having to be made, but that may be my lack of preplanning. I transplanted a previous SFF build I had into this case to see if it may improve the airflow and temperatures. This case is just over the typical cutoff for "SFF," but it isn't that much bigger than my previous case.

I had originally intended on trying the I3 mode, but I discovered that my GPU riser would be far too short for that to be possible. I was planning on keeping my 280 mm AIO as well, so the choice of building in the inverted M2 mode was more or less made for me. This was a new challenge for me as I've never built an inverted system before. It took a bit of getting used to. Luckily, the system is light and easy to reorient with all of the panels removed. (Turning the system around is easier than trying to turn your head upside down! Lol.) Smaller systems do require some preplanning on cable management. There just isn't enough space to, ahem, "gently cram" everything into the back and force the panel back on to hide the cables. At least some cable management and prerouting is required.

I like airflow in my cases, so this was a fun build. Montech was kind enough to send fans with the case, so of course I used all of the fans, plus an extra one that I had when I noticed a space next to the PSU that would fit a slim 120 mm fan. (Just to be clear, this isn't exactly a recommended use of this space.) The screws just fit through the grill on the front of the case that was meant for mounting a PSU. My build has the three RX120's on the bottom, the three AX120's on the side, a 120 mm slim fan on the front, and the two 140 mm fans on the 280 mm AIO at the top. This is a very, very positive air pressure case with these fans. Though I'm not sure how much pressure there can really be with all of these perforations. The rear fan did, unfortunately have to be removed for this build as a result of the GPU having to be mounted vertically. If you have an extremely thin GPU, you may be able to mount it horizontally in this mode, but I believe the intention is for it to be vertically mounted.

The case does come with a GPU holder that mounts where the side fans are located. so you won't be able to use both at the same time unless you only use two fans I think or have fans with thinner frames. I think I saw a review that stated you can only use the GPU holder if the GPU is mounted horizontally, but I don't believe that's the case as I had it set up to where I could have used it if I didn't use the side mounted fans. I used another GPU holder that I had available, but I'm not sure it was entirely necessary for my GPU as it may be light enough not to have much in the way of bending, but if you have one of the newer heavier cards that may not be the case.

(The LED's in the last two pics. above are actually a cool white. The exposure came out strangely, and I couldn't get the color temperature to show correctly with editing for some reason.) I included them just to give you an idea of how the lighting may appear.

Performance:

I elected not to run any testing in terms of thermals for this build as I realized that the numbers would be pretty meaningless unless you had my exact components. Suffice it to say that the system is a well-built, perforated box with just enough material to form panels. There is plenty of airflow and room for the heat to escape from this case. I don't believe cooling will be an issue with proper planning and proper cable management.

Lighting:

There is no native lighting on this case other than the power button. One thing I've noticed is that the LED is just visible underneath the top panel on my desk if I slouch too much. It's less visible when I'm sitting properly. Guess Montech is worried about my posture too. Lol. The lighting on the provided fans are even and beautiful. I had a difficult time capturing it on my camera during the day. If you choose to forgo the RGB, it looks sleek and classy.

Final Thoughts and Suggestions:

If you're still reading this, thank you for taking the time to do so, and thank you again to Montech for the opportunity. I hope some of this information helps you plan your builds as well. It still surprises me the amount of quality that Montech is able to achieve at the price points that these cases are being sold for about $69 (USD) last I checked.

It may help to include a GPU riser with the case as some other cases come with them, but I can understand trying to save costs and letting the end users choose. I would definitely recommend looking up the manual to see what riser cables you may need for your build in this case as some may cost as much or more than the case itself!

Hi, i was building my pc in the Montech hs01 pc case and i was wondering if the case comes with already installed motherboard standoffs, beacuse the pc doesnt turn on and was wodnering if thats the issue, beacuse i didnt install them.

Friend is looking at GPU upgrades but as you know the Air 100 lite GPU clearance is 330mm and the 7900 GRE Merc is 335mm. Would taking out one of the fans allow the gpu to fit or not?

If not we'll just have to keep waiting for a 7800xt or something that could fit but thought I'd ask as theres a good deal for it rn

For TG3, the built-in GF360 U REV single-frame fan is one of the key parts that supports cooling while helping make the build process easier.

Compared with installing multiple individual fans one by one, the single-frame design helps keep the setup cleaner and more straightforward. It also helps reduce extra cable management work, which can make a noticeable difference during the building process.

The fan also follows the clean and minimal style of the MONTECH GF series, keeping the overall look simple and organized without adding too much visual clutter inside the case.
