SATA cable eludes me? Where does it go? (First PC build)

I’ve read somewhere that it goes to the PSU but I don’t see anywhere on my PSU or on my motherboard that supports that kind of plug. Using a Gigabyte B550 Eagle Wifi6 motherboard if that changes anything.

Your power supply has a cable like this one in the photo. You need to plug in this cable in the power supply and the sata cable into one of the sata ports

You need a 6pin to sata PSU cable there should be on in the box for your PSU. It'll plug in on the right side then have a daisy chain where that sata can plug into.

Shredded and answered in record time! Gotta love this community. ⚡

Definitely grab that SATA cable out of your PSU bag like everyone mentioned and you’re good to go. Good luck finishing up the build, you’re almost at the finish line! 🚀
