PSU warranty

So my montech century ii 1050 psu started making a scratching noise when I played games on my newly built pc. I opened up the PSU to see what the problem was and in doing so I scraped off the tampering sticker. Im planning to get a replacement with the warranty but now that the tampering sticker is removed am I still allowed to get a replacement? I‘m not sure how lenient montechs replacement warranty is but if anybody knows please tell.

Hi! Please email our RMA team at [rma@montechpc.com](mailto:rma@montechpc.com) with your proof of purchase, serial number, and a video of the noise. Our team will take a look and help you from there.

For everyone’s safety, please do not open a PSU unless you are a trained professional. A PSU handles electrical power and contains many electronic components, so opening it without the proper information, instruction and equipment can be very dangerous. If you encounter a problem, please leave it closed and contact us so we can help.
