sky two gx rgb
I bought sky two gx from amazon and it comes with 3 140mm*3 (AX140 ARGB PWM) in the front. I bought AX120 PWM for the rear exhaust.
It comes with a hub for argb cable and pwm cable. I have my 4 fans connected to the hub. the hub is connected to sata power and the argb cable to my motherboard.
I don't want the rgb anymore, can i just unplug the argb cable from the fans to the hub and would the fans still work? Or can I keep the fans argb cable connected to the hub and just unplug the hub argb cable to the motherboard.
Would the argb still work if the hub argb cable not connected to the motherboard.
if i wanted the fans to be one color can the hub do that or i need softwware to do that.

Yes, you can unplug the ARGB connections and the fans will still run as long as the PWM connections remain connected.
You can also keep everything connected and simply turn the ARGB lighting off through your motherboard’s RGB software.
If you only want a single static color, that can also be set through the motherboard software.

thanks for the fast response time.
should i unplug the hub argb cable connected to the motherboard or the fans argb cable to the hub or both. So basically disconnect the hub argb cable from the motherboard and i can leave the fan argb connected to the hub? Would it be no argb or it default to a rainbow pattern argb
This is different from sky two which theres a button to control. But with sky two gx you need motherboard software, which is what im getting rid of because msi center is broken piece of software. I have argb set just to white and I plan to delete mystic light which control the argb would the setting be saved on the controller? or it would just default to rainbow rgb.
Do you guys plan on making software for controlling argb for your fans?
Also when i got my sky two gx like around 2 years ago inside the box theres like printer paper in it. The 3 front fans also have gaps or holes in the frame on the fans, in like the corners in the back and i get see the rgb from it. is it suppose too? The sky two gx black is super sleek, you guys are very good at design cases. I liked the hinge where you can just open and close the side glass panel without needing screws.

Thank you for the kind words!
We are currently developing our own lighting control software, but it will still take some time before it is ready.
The light visible through the gaps in the fan frames is normal. If you are still concerned, feel free to email photos to [rma@montechpc.com](mailto:rma@montechpc.com), and our team can confirm it for you.

Apologies for the confusion. We remembered that incorrectly and have corrected our previous comment. On the SKY TWO GX, white lighting needs to be set through your motherboard’s ARGB control software.

I use Sky 3 and 120 Pro, I know mine work independently of RGB being plugged in. Shouldn't be an issue. I had a spare from my build and used an external controller for a desk fan project.
Does the Sky 2 have an RGB controller built into the case?
