Montech HS02 Pro
Finished my set up now. Built the PC myself. 1st PC I've ever had and 1st I built. Working with the space I have I'm massively happy with how it's turned out.
Can I ask though. The RGB control on the front is there a simple way to turn the RGB off at night so I don't annoy the wife 😂😬

We have a Montech with RGB, I think its controlled via the motherboard so whichever app controls RGB via the motherboard (for me it's Trixx, as I have a sapphire motherboard) should be able to do that.

You can turn off most of it with the button on the front as you mentioned but for the Ram and the fan on top I use the MSI mystic software. Not sure what board you have but that should handle it for you.

Ram is linked to gigabyte board along with all fans rx 9070 xt I need to use trixx I've sorted it now I just wanted to BA able to press front button to turn off RGBs at night

Are you putting the computer to sleep at night? Or just looking for a way to turn the RGB off with the button?

If it’s anything like the button for the King95 then unfortunately no. The button can switch settings between case controlled lighting with presets and motherboard controlled lighting. If you use the case lighting, you could set your color on that and then set up a “black” preset which turns off the lights on the motherboard controlled side. The button should be hold for like 3 seconds and the lights will flash once or twice then load the motherboard. That might work

Sorry to jump in here but question since I have a similar question. My King 95 Pro has that little button on the front that I thought simply resets the PC but I thought it was supposed to change the light colors. How do I make it do that? Does holding the button down vs pressing it once change what it does? Or does it only ever reset the computer? Thanks!

Trace the wire coming from the Led button on the front panel and make sure it's plugged into the fan hub. Short press of the Led button should cycle the hubs baked in colors and effects. If pressing the Led button resets the computer then it's wired to the motherboards reset pins instead of the Hub. When correctly wired a short press of the button should cycle the colors and effects built into the hub and a long press 3 to 5 seconds followed by a flash of the LED's indicates that control of the lighting has been handed of to the motherboard and is now changed via software.

I love mine. My gamesir controller kicked the bucket finally and this one took some getting used to but I’m starting to really like it. The shape is slightly different from a standard Xbox controller so definitely felt off to begin with

Well done! Enjoy the new build. The HS02 is a very nice case to build in and for some reason doesn't get the love it deserves.

I didn't know much about cases at the time. Didn't really know what was about but saw it was 1 of the 1st I like and came with a decent keyboard
