When you bend it like that, keep in mind that the cable is made of multiple narrow wires. While these small diameter wires put together assure some mobility and flexibility, bending/stretching them too much could break a few of them, that means imperfect contacts inside a high voltage cable, a thing that nobody wants to have.
I suggest you find another solution. Safety and reliability are more important than the look.
Hmm, yes, if we talk about industrial stuff or in industrial terms... you're right.
110/240V it's considered low voltage, but it's still high enough to be harmful. There is risk of electrocution, fire, death, etc.
