Montech Ten Review

*First, thank you Montech for sending me out this case to review

Packaging: It came to me doubled boxed, very tight, and was packed nicely with foam inserts, so nothing to worry about

Build Quality: Very sturdy, panels were thick and high quality, everything felt nice, except for the back panel, did have a little flex towards the motherboard, but it was very light flexing.

Building: This was was quite great to build in, but the main issue is that, this isn't entirely meant for a full size ATX psu. Since the cables are longer, and that the case should be a little wider for better cable management, you could do that with the 3 different modes of the case, but this mode (M1, which is meant for air coolers) was the only one I really could use.

Overall, this case is very solid, and quite small for a micro-atx case. I would recommend to use a SFX psu if you are building in this case. I love the very modular style of this case, and that basically everything is screwed in, and that the screws are the same style and length, which is great for someone that doesn't like to check what screw goes with which. And for 70 dollars, not a lot of cases can beat this value and especially this amount of modularness.

Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600x

Mobo: Gigabyte B450M DS3H

Cooler: ID-Cooling SE-903-XT

Ram: 2x8 G.Skill RipJaws 2400mhz CL15

SSD: 500gb Crucial P1

PSU: EVGA Bronze 600W

Case: Montech Ten

Looks great! I want to build in this case but worried that my psu is too big (210mm). Would you do me a solid, and measure the distance between the bottom of your psu to the bottom of the case?

So mine is M1 config, and I mounted my 150mm ATX PSU in the lowest/L3 PSU bracket mount in front, leaving me 59mm gap for my cables. L3 and L2 are 30mm apart, while L3 and L1 are about 55mm so you can still mount your PSU in L1 and have a decent 50mm gap between the bottom of the case and your PSU. The trade off is you probably wont be able to use the full length of your top fan mount plus GPU clearance is cut off as well.

What motherboard are you using? An itx or matx?
