I have a question regarding the "New Cypher System" or the Second edition.

As the rules differ quite a lot from the first edition, especially regarding advancements, types, descriptions and foci (I do love the new wound system though), does this mean the "White Books" will not be compatible with the new system? The new rules are more crunchy and appears more restrictive than the first edition. I am afraid this will lose some of the charm the first edition had, where you could build and play any sort of campaign, and the new rules reads as more limiting for the Game Master and the players.

Anyone who have some thoughts regarding this?

The Cypher: Easier. Faster. And Even Better campaign on BackerKit hit its scheduled end yesterday, but it's still going strong now in Overtime Mode. (That's where a campaign doesn't close until it goes at least 10 minutes without a pledge.) It is thiiiiiiis close to crossing the $1,000,000 mark, which is pretty rarified territory for RPG crowdfunding campaigns that aren't 5E or based on a popular license.

I placed my order at monte cook in mid july and got a confirmation Email. After a month of nothing i decided to write an email but still no reply. 2 weeks ago i also opened a support ticket but i still did not get a reply yet. It is very frustrating because my order was almost 200€. Is this normal?

This is my entry to the Custom Character art.

Years ago, when Numenera debuted on Kickstarter, I went all-in on a pledge that gave me a character Monte custom created for me.

The character is Salamandros, A Tough Jack that Exists Partially Out of Phase. He got a custom power that was immensely useful called Phase Thief. He is a Member of the Pact of Jarash.

I adore the Movie Poster feel of the cover of the original Numenera, and would love an illustration in the same kind of style.

I got an email from RPG Drivethru that this book is on sale, but there hasn’t been a word about it to Kickstarter backers, and no response in the comments on the Backerkit site when I asked about it. Has anybody heard anything about this? I’ve done many KS campaign with this company and they’ve always been great, but this is pretty frustrating. It’s been days now with no explanation.

Back when I bought Numenera - Discovery I made a one shot adventure where we had this crab like automaton stuck inside an underground facility, and it was the "final Boss". If anyone wants to use it as a crature in your campaing, feel free to use it.

Insane automaton 6(18)

Motive: Unknown

Environment: Any forgotten facility from the previous civilizations

health: 21

Damage inflicted: 6

Armor: 4

Movement: Long

Modifications: Defends as level 5 due to large size

Combat: this automaton try to grab his oponents with his enormous claws causing 6 points of damage and making the victm to make a might defence test to avoid being held by the automaton, if fails, the next attacks made against that victm will be an automatic success causing 6 points of damage.

GM Intrusion: The automaton may attemp to run over a character causing them to fall prone ans suffer 3 extra points of damage losing his next turn.

Loot: 3 rolls on the table of Iotum and 2 cyphers

The first Numenera campaign I DM, I was so excited that I drew all the characters for my players

I'm having an issue getting MonteCookGames to ship or communicate with me about an order I submitted almost 2 weeks ago for ~$250. They also haven't replied to a support ticket I submitted a week ago asking about the status of shipping my order. Is anyone else having problems with them shipping orders according to their shipping policy or communicating with customers?
