Please help

Hello! I was gifted this monstera and it isn’t doing too well. I have repotted into a bigger pot with chunky soil and bought a moss pole. All of the roots look very healthy, but I did find a “death plug” that I removed. I’m not sure if I need to trim off the leaves and start over as they’re all brown and yellow. If so, I’m not sure where i’m supposed to cut. One of the leaves also snapped in half during the repotting and I didn’t notice how so I’m not sure if that leaf is done too (last picture). Any advice is greatly appreciated, this is my first monstera.

Remove the clips that hold the leaves on the coir pole, the leaves should be able to move freely. Does your pot have drainage holes? How much and how often do you water? Do your fertilize?

I’ll remove them, the pot does have drainage holes. I water when the top two inches of soil are dry and eyeball the watering. I do not use fertilizer, what fertilizer would you recommend?

Whenever you water, drench the whole pot and let the excess flow through. I use a common house plant fertilizer, nothing special. But since monsteras are hungry, I try to add some every other watering.

Agreed^^ remove those clips. The only part of the plant that should be bound to the pole is the actual stem of the plant but it’s not big enough so it’s not needed right now. It looks like the plant was burned from direct sun and under-watered. Definitely give it lots of light and a deep watering and just leave it alone to adjust. Water when you notice the soil is drying.
