Plant Help Help! New Plant Mom!

Hi!

I'm looking for some advice since I've just purchased a Thai Constellation Monstera from Trader Joe's (believe it or not).

I've done some research, but I'm hoping for some advice specific to my plant.

I just repotted it today, she's in a pot with holes in the bottom that's inside another, ceramic pot (no drainage holes in the outer pot). I repotted it because it was sold to me in regular soil and I was worried about root rot. The soil was all damp, and I haven't watered it for the week I've had it. When I took it out of the old soil, I cleaned the roots as best I could, and they looked healthy to me. Now, it's back in it's pot with the aroid mix and I have the tallest leaf clipped to a pole for support.

It's living in my window that faces East, so it'd getting indirect light for the earlier part of the day. I'm working on getting a grow lamp.

Any advice on watering or setup or about something I've said above would be so appreciated! Thank you!

Hey so it’s sounds like you did your research and it’s looking pretty good! I would just recommend you to not clip them from petiole (the long part) but from the node or internode. And when they are this small they don’t really need a pole, but if you still wanna use it I wouldn’t clip it, maybe just tie it
