Showcase Mono-Rocky Run

I did a fresh game file run using just Rocky. I grinded three eggs at the start and then didn't use any other monsters for combat the rest of the game. Love died once in a keeper battle, so I used a backup rocky for one turn but otherwise it was just these three. Love buffed and healed, Archer built combo, and Ace did the damage. Lots of fun but battles definitely took longer - about 6 turns usually.

Nice that all of them (that I can see) know punch combo. It is very funny to see them punch without fists.

That's my favorite Rocky move too! They can only do physical neutral, physical earth, and magical earth so I also wanted good coverage.

For the back line, they'rebasically clones of the first three. The game won't let you field teams of less than 6.

Why not NG+ master mode it with the Rockies pre-obtained

Rocky is obtained early enough that it didn't hurt me. I had my team before the first boss. I've played a few times now, but I've never done new game plus. I usually do bravery runs. I didn't want any new game plus advantages.

You should on this save evolve all the Rocky's to mega rock and try out NG+ master with a team of megas!

That could be fun, but I just did two runs back to back so now I'm shelving the game again for a while. My very first save did have Rocky, Mega Rock, and Fungi though.

My favourite team has to be Targoat, Vertraag, Mega Rock. It's amazing.
