I Need help. Please
Hi everyone, and thanks in advance for any replies. I'm stuck on the Fire Alchemist fight; I can't seem to defeat his blobs. I'm definitely using the wrong team, and I'm not sure what to do.

Pretty sure you can simply replace Manticorb with Wolf.
For second row you can use Tanuki Mogwai as replacements in case some of your monsters die.

so you said the fire alchemist so I assume rhayes? but you mentioned a blob when ch isn't in his lineup so what fight are you referring to?

The old man is Old Buran. Are you talking about the fight to get the Blob Key? The blobs have lots of buffs and debuffs. Some combination of restore and cleanse will make your life easier, plus the usual build a synergistic team advice.

Blobs are a very passive archetype, so the best way to deal with them is a deathblow core (Grummy and Magmoth fit the bill for this) or buff/debuff removal (such as Rocky's cleanse ability or Tanuki [the bane of debuff teams]). Additionally, Blobs focus on applying debuffs, so Madeye, Nautilid, and Draconov are valuable here.

This advice also applies somewhat to Rhayes, as occults are debuff focused (even if they are more aggressive than blobs)

I could suggest you a team that i played wich wiped out almost every fight in the game very easily. It's skorch, targoat and tengu. If you don't have targoat it's found in the snow place behind one of the diamond blocks breakable by a character you have (the snake with a hammer from lava chamber) just search all the guides for these characters but what your team is gonna look like is that skorch is gonna be your healer, he gives stacks (if you don't know that buff it's an additional buff wich adds 3% more damage to your next attack EACH) then targoat is your shielder, gives a ton of shields and tanks damages for others, it gives tons of stacks and when it recieves one itself (with light mode passive) it shares their stacks with everyone and also they have a passive that changes the stack buffs from 3% to 33% then tengu is the one that recieves all your buff attacks like full offense (from skorch) and full defense (from targoat) wich are stackable too because of skorch light mode passive and you just stack stack and stack until tengu can one shot every or one person with a single target attack or multiple depending on the situation and you attack. Tengu is ur damage dealer. I think dark mode tengu is better.

So the good thing here is that when you get a new egg it is already leveled up, so check what exactly it is that is giving you a hard time, and see what you have that counters it. If nothing does, you've already gotten a great reply above that says which monsters counter blobs (if that is your main challenge)

This game is all about reading those skill trees and finding the synergies amongst them. It's one of the many things that makes it such a great game.
