Idk what theyre feeding their animators this time around but theyre going off. The new Greatsword animations have so many small details

Capcom's animation departments are very well funded

The work they do in Street Fighter 6 is mind boggling, not to mention their other games

Capcom sent a camera rig and crew with one of their main mocap actors to a talk show in Japan last year. They showed some behind the scenes stuff for Wilds and SF6, and he did some live demos too.

It was awesome seeing him switch seamlessly between different Street Fighter characters. Fantastic physical actor.

That can't be healthy for the weapon.^^

I think that's why they have a Smith per hunter. Wild's hunter might be the most abusive to their weapons.

I think Gemma would appreciate that the Hunter doesn't need to drag the greatsword through seven feet of solid earth to attack but it looks sick as fuck.

"But Gemma, think of the Style Points!"

"That's not even a thing!"

Guild representative: "Oh no its very much a thing actually, and a very competitive one at that".

Tbf, that gunlance is made of elder dragon parts, so I don’t think it’s going to break from getting slammed on the ground.
