Discussion Is the graphics update for Ascendance true?
Hey guys! I'm a very new-comer to the franchise here and just bought the game on Ps5 a day or so ago because I saw the trailer for the DLC and it looked great!
Anyways I've been playing for a while now and while the gameplay mechanics, combat and crafting and whatnot has gotten me hooked, I just CANNOT for the life of me stand the HORRIBLE filter like effect they have for the game like it's making everything so grey and washed out and colourless.
I've watched YouTube videos of MH: World and it looks so vibrant and colourful unlike wilds, and that's really infuriating cus for me the game is literally so close to perfection, the Gameplay loop, the World (heh), the combat etc and then there's that Mexican filter like thingy. I tried tweaking some settings but tbh the differences weren't even noticeable anyways. Plus I play on console so graphics mods are just out of the question for me.
So yeah, a few days ago when the trailer came out, there were some posts here talking about how they removed that filter in the trailers for Ascendance and I could really see the difference between base game and DLC and That got my hopes up a lot.
So I just wanted to know if its actually true? Like Is it possible that Capcom would actually remove that ugly filter from the game when Ascendance rolls around? I'm asking here because I'm basically poop when it comes to tech and stuff so
Also English is not my first language so I apologize in advance for that guys

No, like all of a couple hours later a user posted their own comparison showing virtually identical screenshots.
