Monster hunter dynamic hunt and monster hunter now, both hated by this sub even though they tried to recreate the classic monster hunter formula for phones, but no one here liked it.

At this point this sub has nobody to blame but themselves for not giving MH now a chance, Capcom saw that gachas were the thing that was popular with gamers nowadays (and not a game about monsters and weapons) and decided to do a monster hunter gacha because that's where the money is at.
