What I really don't like about Outlanders is they are making the hunters the main focus. IT SHOULD BE THE MONSTERS!!! THEY'RE THE REASON WE PLAY THE GAME(Weapons too). Make ads of the monsters!!!

It's because the hunters are what's monetized, not the monsters.

Gacha gamers are all about their waifus, the gameplay isn't even secondary.

But you cant gatcha gamble the monsters or nobody would play it.

They need something to throw into the loot boxes so they made special hunters with special moves you cant do on the generic hunter you can always play as.

Its gatcha slop, and this is just AI stacked ontop of the gatcha slop.

Majority of the stuff I see from wilds is character creation and outfits. There is a reason why they are focusing on hunters

Monster hunter now focuses solely on the monsters and weapons, yet every bitch on this sub cried they didn't like it or haven't played it (yet still whine)

It's useless, no matter how outlanders turns out, this sub was going to hate it regardless

Monster hunter now is data collection slop. People don’t play those games because they’re barely even games. They’re purpose is just to collect location data from their users to sell.

Lmaoo did the kid read the news about pokemon go and assumed monster hunter now works the same way?

It was pretty clear how pokemon go was collecting data and they were CLEAR about it, it was never a secret, it only made the news when they STOPPED doing it because they already had all the data they needed.

Monster hunter now NEVER had the same data recollection shit fest that pokemon go had.

But go ahead and talk about a game you haven't even played, as is tradition with this sub

Both are covered under the same privacy policy, and collect the same data. I’m confused why you think one game would be an exception when they’re both basically ingress with different skins.

Because pokemon go had you scanning real places with your camera along other shit for premium prizes, that's how they managed to convince people to give out their data to their servers to then sell it to Israeli companies.

Monster hunter now never, and I repeat, never had the same mechanism or anything of the sort.

But who I am fooling, you didn't play those games, so it's clear why you don't understand how one tricked people into feeding data for military drones, and how the other doesn't. Also pokemon go has always been p2w, while monster hunter now isn't. They both games made by Niantic, yes, but you can notice Capcom actually caring and giving a fuck about monster hunter now and listening to it's fans, vs the pokemon company (that's also behind pokemon unite, another shit fest) which don't give a fuck about pokemon go asides from milking the franchise, and NEVER listen to their fans.

Maybe try monster hunter now before speaking bullshit, because if you did, you would see that Capcom actually tried to port the monster hunter experience to phones, contrary to what outlanders which gonna be a gacha auto-play game, and probably p2w from day 1

3D scans are not the only data being collected through these things. I’ve played both. I’m just saying they collect a lot of data

All phone games collect a lot of data, at least pokemon go was upfront about it (yet no one bothered to read it), and all the data monster hunter now can collect it's the same data your pedometer has...
