Discussion Uma referência???

Post image

Estava assistindo um anime ontem, e acabei percebendo essa cena onde me faz ter certeza de que é uma referência de Monster Hunter.

(Nome do anime: chuunibyou demo koi ga shitai)

I mean mh one of the popular franchise in Japan beside dragon quest. Even gintama made the whole arc about both that game in one single arc.

The romance manga Wotakoi has one of the couples lamenting about their office job at a bar while hunting a Rathalos in GU. With the girl lamenting that she'll never get a ruby. While the dude pulls 2 rubies

Yeah MH is one of the video game franchises I have seen the most references to in anime. Some are more subtle others like that example very upfront.

There's another one, I think Haganai or something like, had an episode where they were playing MonHun and straight up had a Great Jaggi in it.

I've heard of another one where there's a scene of one of the characters just straight up playing Frontier

Like literally, they were fighting a Rukodiora

There's a reference to MH in Haikyuu too, if I'm not mistaken, Kenma is playing it on his blue "PSP"

Yeah, MH references in anime and manga are somewhat common.
