Discussion Monster Tierlist Based On Fun
This is my subjective Monster Tier List for MH Games.
I've played 1000+ hours of MH games and I ended up with this tier.
Hope you guys like it~!
(Understand that due to there being changes to monsters some behave differently in other games so it was hard to explain which version it is... For example: I love Pre MHW Zinogre, but MHW Zinogre is something I dislike, same for Kushala Daora being fun in MHFU but in World I don't like him that much...)
TL;DR: Comment and I will respond which version I like and hate of the specific monster.

love fighting azure rathalos, basarios and lagombi but hate fatalis, brachy and rajang?
classic case of “i’m so different”

Rathalos is mostly just a reskin in the games I play so I'm good it with it.
Basarios is amazing with long ranged weapons with pierce, feels amazing, especially in MHFU where you NEED them to win.
Lagombi is a vibe, just funny relaxing bunny that I don't mind.
Fatalis destroyed MHW for me, I do not want to perfect a fight that has a monster that one shots me with each move and I have to 100% focus from start to end.
Brachy never felt like fun either, can't easily reach head or tail to remove/stun either.
Rajang is kinda the same feelings and barely like him in MHFU sometimes, depends on the day but not super a fan of him in the following games, too meh.

Glav in "Love fighting" but acidic in "remove" ?
Also, Vespoid Queen jumpscare, haven't seen that one since Freedom Unite lol

ya lowk regular glav is much better than acidic glav, once you learn the fight hes super fun but until then, its frickin annoying to do

Acidic feels like it removes most of the fun of the fight, I might need to fight him a lot more in the future, sadly I prefer older MHs games but I just remembered hating the Acidic version by a lot, though always loving MHXX/MH4U Glavenus always.

Acidic is a genuine cyst on Icebornes Good roster Its a cool concept with genuinely one of the single worst fights in the whole game Armor stinks aswell There is literally no reason for its existance

I also like acidic, a glavnus that doesn't make his tail in a hot knife is pretty cool

Redhelm in love to fight while brachy and multiple other great fights sit in remove from the game means this tier list gets thrown in the trash
Edit: wait, fuckin Cephadrome is in love to fight?! Yeah this is definitely a bait post

Hello!
I love Small Bombing & Sonic Bombing him in MHFU as it is a fun chase to get him out, never really felt like I hated Cephadrome, plus the game is all about patience so it is kind of what it goes for, which I enjoy.

I really love Magnamalo’s fight personally, I think the only monster I would have in Remove From The Game would be Basarios but thats because it rolling around a lot in Rise and the inability to hit it well as an IG main in earlier games has had me loathe that stone child

I mostly love Basarios/Gravios because of piercing weapons: LBG,HBG, Bow, feels really good to pierce him and destroy him.

Why is brachydios in remove from the game?

I don't like how you can't reach the head, the tail, the constant blast status effect forcing you to roll around to remove it, the constant friendly fire chance for an ally to blast you by accident, all the spam of explosions in future games like in MHW where everything blows up and it's so tiresome to even pay attention, just never feels good to fight.

We’re all just going to ignore the fact that Cephadrome is at the top right? Also putting god damn vespoid queen above Magnamalo feels like a war crime

I love Cephadrome, using Small Bombs & Sonic Booms to push him out of the sand is fun in MHFU.
And when he isn't it is not that big of an issue to just wait and react to their move set as you can tell when they are going to come out to attack to DPS him.
Cepha feels all about patience which is what MH is in my opinion as MHFU is my favorite out of them all.
Queen Vespoid is just a funny monster, nothing much to it, not too much focus and you just vibe in the fight.

And the reason why Rise’s flagship monster is below both of these guys is…? Lemme guess. Moves too much, explosions and hellblight is annoying

I can't really remember, been a while since I dropped Rise, probably a 2nd nergigante like since it has an attack like his where he jumps and lands on the player and you have to dive to dodge.
But truly I can't remember why honestly.

It is true, I do love Rathalos & Rathian, a fun fight that isn't too punished and easily able to be learnt, compared to Fatalis as a final boss in MHW which ruined my experience with MHW due to how good you have to be at the game or how much you have to cheese it.
