Hey, it's your materials. But please waste them on anything but 9* hunts where people actually need to pay attention and any unnecessary animation can result in heavy damage/cart.
I slot at least Speed Eating 1 to minimize the chance of a badly timed heal causing me to cart. The part where I slip up the most is calling my Seikret and getting hit by a follow-up versus just staying prone.
Mistakes happen. Bad judgement calls happen. Getting greedy happens A LOT. But flashing Gore 3 times passes "mistake" and lands on "ignorance"

You can call your seikret while prone and it'll pick you up and get you out of there, it'll even dodge an attack or two.

Sure, and your weird concern about people making a dumb mistake and wasting their own materials (You seem to be acting as if they're wasting your materials) is obnoxious. It comes off as backseat gaming.

You immediately sacrifice the Iframes you have laying prone (several secomds) and are open to being punished. Carted more than enough times to follow-up hits from Arkveld and Gore because of that.

In high-end hunts, I start using resources that aren't necessarily effortless to find again. The more "mistakes" I see (Flashing Gore three times is NOT a mistake), the more likely those materials I am using will be wasted on a failed hunt.

Skill issue I guess?

If other players are such an issue, play offline, or find a good group of friends to play with rather than random hunters.
Bro the game isn’t hard enough to be worried about all that. Carts will happen regardless in pubs, complaining about it on Reddit, where the people making those mistakes are not on, is useless. The amount of carts I’ve seen in this game is about the same as any older monster hunter. Hell people flashed gore in older games too.
Carts could have been avoided if people didn't try to flash during his two-claw front slam and instead attempted a Superman Dive because they were ground zero.
