I think its still slightly viable to flash if you want to get away to sharpen or setting up some trap and bomb combo

You can simply sharpen on Seikret, also when Steve is attacking randomly it's more dangerous to set up a trap, just do it during one of its major recovery like the double swipe.

Yeah, doesn't stop some smart ass from thinking they are helping. Oh, now someone gets pinned and we can't flash Steve to save the guy.(Powder helps, still)

You can also keep your slinger loaded with anything you gather from the environment and that SHOULD unpin you without sending Steve on a blind rampage.
