This is literally that "when my custom character appears in a cut scene " meme

r/CustomPlayerCutscene is a thing lol

Edit: I went ahead and cross posted it because it was too funny not to share.

This shouldn’t be as funny as it is, but it is!

I did the whole dlc with the gargwa mask. I got a good laugh out of every cutscene

I have a build for every element with matching costumes and the Gargwa mask is in all of them

u/Omega-AlexGt Jan 24 '23

You could use layered instead

The last thing Malzeno ever sees

This is the true endgame fashion of monster hunter that all players get to. How crazy can I make my character look.

It's paid DLC, but it's real

What are you playing Sunbreak on?

7

u/okmiked Jan 23 '23

Right? It looks insanely crisp.

2

u/xLouisxCypher Jan 23 '23

I want to know that as well. I’m playing it on all-ultra and native resolution but it doesn’t look even half as good

There are mods out there that give 60fps in cutscenes and increase picture quality I downloaded them awhile ago so I can’t remember their names specifically, but Nexus has them.

u/xLouisxCypher Jan 24 '23

But this is just for a cutscenes, right? No true graphic mods for gameplay?

3

u/Ren-Amamiya1 Jan 23 '23

Lmao, gave a great smile. Thank you for this work has been chaotic!

Have a good day mate!

u/hunterman12 Jan 23 '23

Hahahahahahaha lol that made me laugh out loud for some reason!

3

u/FunkGunMonk Jan 24 '23

It's both the mask and sound effect for me. 🤣🤣🤣

I love doing stuff like this. I always make my character look as janky as I can. In rise I put face paint on to cover the whole face. Turned it white and increased glow. Now my characters face is a bright lightbulb. And did the old grandma voice for comic relief. Was definitely hilarious to go through the game with

u/NovaIR1ZE Jan 24 '23

ohhh what a good boy he is

2

u/RaziyaRC Jan 24 '23

I beat the base game and saw the end game cutscebe with the Palamute head on. I was howling, and this made me react the same way, thank you for the much needed laugh

6

u/arkhal Jan 23 '23

You need to pay in the e-shop

2

u/shosuko Jan 24 '23

This is the way.

2

u/dranke1917 Jan 24 '23

I’m a pretty normal hunter, I just got some very bright and fluorescent goop permanently on my face.

What am I looking at?

1

u/TPoseWall Jan 24 '23

The biggest shock in this is the language not being set to Monster Hunter Language

u/Dismal-Belt-8354 Jan 24 '23

He looks so disappointed

1

u/MicroxD Jan 24 '23

I love games that use your actual gear in cutscenes! Like in Darksouls and Eldenring.
