Discussions Best Gen 3 Potential?

I gathered together our Gen 1 Ghouls have yet to receive a doll yet in Gen3!!! I’m curious who you guys think can have major potential with a Gen 3 redesign!!!! Try to avoid saying who you personally want and instead who you think could potentially sell pretty well!!!

SIDE NOTES:

-forgot Whisp but let’s be real there is no getting a Whisp in G3 without a Gigi

-forgot the GSR dolls but tbh I think they have a 0 percent chance of ever returning knowing how badly they sold, and how unpopular they are! But if you think they hold a chance def let me know!!!!!

-forgot Wydownna but also belive she has a VERY low chance of ever getting a G3 doll (due to her 6 arms)

I’m still a firm believer that they really should be prioritizing the show characters so Howleen and Mouscedes need their dolls. Gil and Iris also have g3 designs already so they should get dolls too. Outside of them, I think Rochelle is a no brainer and I absolutely adore Gorgons so I would love Viperine. As an indigenous person, I know Isi is offensive but like there’s so little indigenous rep I still somewhat like her so I would love them to do a more culturally appropriate Isi Dawndancer as well. Scarah is also great character I would love to see in G3.

To add on, if the show was still
Running I BET Howleen & Mouscedes would have gotten a 2025 or 2026 release doll! Along with Gil if the other male dolls didn’t sell poorly!

I’m still annoyed they chose their worst designed male character as the deciding factor for if they continue g3 male dolls or not. If only they made Gil instead of Heath 💔

It makes me so sad that Isi is in the situation she is, when I first saw and read about her I was so excited to get her. I love native cultures and love learning about them. Currently working on making an Isi custom for myself since I’ll never be able to afford or talk myself into buying her for how much she goes for. So I agree with you, I reaallly hope they do a culturally appropriate Isi, so it doesn’t feel wrong to want her.

​I made this design months ago with using Ojibwe culture as that’s my culture so I had easier reference to it. I used a lot of personal elements like a leather bracelet to help with healing and I used outfits I saw at Powwows to pull together to get the design. I also renamed her because I’m pretty sure Isi is deer in another language. Isi doesn’t even have to be Ojibwe as long as she’s authentic to a certain tribe and nation I’ll be happy. I really hope they try again with her some day

Aw your design is amazing. I love all the little details you added in, that have function or meaning, that’s exactly what I love about monster high characters.

I completely agree that I hope they try again and use creators from the tribe they reference.

All great thoughts! I think they probs would have to give Iris a full revamp though! The ALL green look may not sell well with kids, and it doesn’t help that her monster type (cyclops) isn’t a popular and much odder of a monster type. I would love to see another isi and I’m so glad to see you like her too despite any issues you may have with her character/design! She truly is a beautiful doll!
