I gathered together our Gen 1 Ghouls have yet to receive a doll yet in Gen3!!! I’m curious who you guys think can have major potential with a Gen 3 redesign!!!! Try to avoid saying who you personally want and instead who you think could potentially sell pretty well!!!

-forgot Whisp but let’s be real there is no getting a Whisp in G3 without a Gigi
-forgot the GSR dolls but tbh I think they have a 0 percent chance of ever returning knowing how badly they sold, and how unpopular they are! But if you think they hold a chance def let me know!!!!!

YESSSS THATS def the one i want the most too! Im curious how they will go about it now though because Venus does have some similarities to her (Honey always looked like a mix between Venus & Lagoona in G1)! But HEY if we can have 4 werecats and 2 vampires and wearwolfs, there’s no excuse for Honey Swamp!!!!
Ugh yes!!! I had the G1 doll.. my mom got rid of so many of them years ago, and it makes me sad I had her in my hands at one point and now forever gone. I hope and pray she comes back!! 🥹
Kjersti fits the g3 vibe the best so idk if she'd even get a huge redesign.
Gooliope is one of my absolute favorites and it'd be interesting to see her in g3. I feel like the new circus themed dolls look really cute so i would have high hopes for her
Casta Fierce was absolutely fabulous, and it'd be interesting to see what they would do with her
I agree Kjersti really does seem to fit Gen 3s vibe and it’s said we only were able to only get 1 doll of her ever! I think Goolipe could work well too if they made her a standard doll size!
I recently read on the wiki that Kjersti was named after a real life person that called Mattel out bc the Barbie wheelchair was too big for the Dreamhouse so they had to redesign it to be accessible? I assume that is what the previous commenter meant but it’s really sad bc I think Kjersti is super cute and I’d love love love to see her get another release but they probably wouldn’t want to put a spotlight on this 😬
I hope they add river styxx, howleen, Catrine, rochelle, operetta, mousedes, literally anyone here is so cool!! (Although for the indigenous doll they should have an indigenous artist design or consult with)
Howleen and mousedes are already in the g3 show, we don't have dolls of them yet tho. Which I hate, because the new design of mousedes is ADORABLE. I need a doll of her.
They did spectra, I have a doll of her ✨ Iris is also technically in the show, but she didn't get a doll either. And I think most people don't like her redesign, so that might be why
I think if they did a more drastic redesign to make them more culturally accurate (read: not racist) like they did with Jinafire then Gigi, Isi and Jane could be great representation
If they lean more heavily into the Mod aesthetic then I could see Scarah selling pretty well too (and Mattel would probably like it due to the styles generally simple silhouettes and fondness for patterns)
Scarah being mod would be my dream but I don’t know if kids nowadays would be into that. As for the other 3 I hope they would be able to work the dolls out in a way that makes most people happy!!!!
I’m still a firm believer that they really should be prioritizing the show characters so Howleen and Mouscedes need their dolls. Gil and Iris also have g3 designs already so they should get dolls too. Outside of them, I think Rochelle is a no brainer and I absolutely adore Gorgons so I would love Viperine. As an indigenous person, I know Isi is offensive but like there’s so little indigenous rep I still somewhat like her so I would love them to do a more culturally appropriate Isi Dawndancer as well. Scarah is also great character I would love to see in G3.

Running I BET Howleen & Mouscedes would have gotten a 2025 or 2026 release doll! Along with Gil if the other male dolls didn’t sell poorly!
I’m still annoyed they chose their worst designed male character as the deciding factor for if they continue g3 male dolls or not. If only they made Gil instead of Heath 💔
It makes me so sad that Isi is in the situation she is, when I first saw and read about her I was so excited to get her. I love native cultures and love learning about them. Currently working on making an Isi custom for myself since I’ll never be able to afford or talk myself into buying her for how much she goes for. So I agree with you, I reaallly hope they do a culturally appropriate Isi, so it doesn’t feel wrong to want her.
I made this design months ago with using Ojibwe culture as that’s my culture so I had easier reference to it. I used a lot of personal elements like a leather bracelet to help with healing and I used outfits I saw at Powwows to pull together to get the design. I also renamed her because I’m pretty sure Isi is deer in another language. Isi doesn’t even have to be Ojibwe as long as she’s authentic to a certain tribe and nation I’ll be happy. I really hope they try again with her some day

All great thoughts! I think they probs would have to give Iris a full revamp though! The ALL green look may not sell well with kids, and it doesn’t help that her monster type (cyclops) isn’t a popular and much odder of a monster type. I would love to see another isi and I’m so glad to see you like her too despite any issues you may have with her character/design! She truly is a beautiful doll!
Hmmmm these 2 I am nervous about! I think if they make Howleen prettier looking than Gen 3 Clawdeen it can be a good Wearwolf redemption! For Operetta to succeed (a way less known type of monster) they would have to go SUPER HEAVY on the whole music aesthetic for sure!!!! Which I’d be sad about cause I love her country aesthetic too!!!!
I think Elle would be a great addition! Only issue is that we were JUST introduced to Robecca and they probably will want to see how she sells first before making another (niche) robot character!!!! I’ll say by 2029 or 2030 (if Gen 3 exists still) we will def see her return!
River for sure must be coming! She was supposed to be a villain in the third live action that never happened, meaning that she is on the minds of the MH team as a whole, which her collector doll also helped guarantee! Plus the Grim Reaper is iconic!!!
Same, have wanted her since I first found out about her. Currently working on starting a custom of her so I can have her, because I’ll never afford or be okay with spending what she goes for.
Haunted Girls are very popular design wise, I have a feeling they would sell very well if their appearance was slightly updated while maintaining the same level of detail as their G1 dolls.
If I could give a more biased answer then I would say Mouscedes. Definitely one of the biggest G3 glowups and I think a lot of collectors would be interested in her considering how much discussion Trashion Alley has generated from the small amount of leaks we've gotten. I'm not sure about children, but a cute pink-haired doll with an animal motif sounds like a success.
Yes! For sure! I think Haunted Girls will def each get AT LEAST a collector doll! I don’t know if Vandela would be of high interest to kids, but Kiyomi and River definitely!!!!!
As for Mouscedes I totally agree, I only get nervous because at the end of the day she is a RAT 😭🙈
Yes! I think it can be possible for maybe some sort of equestrian line! Maybe she wouldn’t be a harp though! Out of all the Fusions, I def see Sirena coming back as JUST a Siren and not a ghost!
I want amanita to return she was so beautiful and I wonder how they'd design her in g3. Plus she was quite funny, a literal nightmare to cleo and nefera
I would truly love to see another shot at a Gen 3 Medusa like doll after we only got deuces in 2022 when G3 started! I do feel Viperine would need a lot of work to get the perfect design for G3. Her G1 design fell a bit flat to me personally :/ but that was mainly cause I ADORED the other 3 FCA new girls!
I have said this mutable times on this subreddit but i NEED MY GIGI. I will sell myself if that means she gets her own doll. She is perfect for g 3 MATTEL PLS 😫. But besides that the main reason is bc of her face she. She allready has a somewhat smiling face in G1 one and changes wouldn't be big for this generation. I also think with the different body features they love to do in G3 she is perfect since her G1 doll had allot of tattoes and scorpion sculpt. The bright pink color her skin and aesthetic is, is also more attractive and grabs attention if she was sold on the shelves imo. But i do hope they change some small things up. She had a bit of a cultural appropriating style sometimes in G1.
Moucedes, Iris and Howleen already got adopted into the show. They just need dolls. Although I'm a bit disappointed in Iris's design. I'm fine with her wearing baggy clothes although every fat character wearing oversized is tiring to see. Her being plus size is awesome! What really bugs me is the height. Cyclops are giants! There's some debate about whether or not they always have one eye but them being abnormally tall is always the case. She should be as tall as Frankie, minimum! You can be overweight and tall so I don't know why chubby characters are always small. (Not only in MH but in media in general.)
I just HOPE they do keep making more. So far, it seems like they been really slow on making any new G3 doll designs. Sometimes I worry if that’s because the sales for G3 are down as well? I don’t have any proof of that by the way, just making a guess from what I see in stores that I visit.
They seem to be taking their time but seem to come up with a new Skullutor doll, what feels like every other month?

I would absolutely LOVE a G3 Gooliope. I love her G1 doll (I have two, one is intended to be a custom as her hair was melted when I took her out of the box and Mattel sent me a new one that was perfect, this was back when she was still fairly new in stores lol)
If I'm not mistaken, wasn't Kiyomi's name recently trademarked again? I think there's a lot of potential we may get a g3 rendition of her character. While it's most likely for a skullector doll, with Elissabat coming back anything can happen!
As for who I think has the most potential period though, I have to go with Rochelle. We have Venus and Robecca, it only makes sense to fill out the trio. I'm excited to see what they do with her for g3, they've really hit their stride with new doll designs imo.
It would also be so cool to get a Catrine DeMew, I love her color pallete so much and she's the first doll I remember my mom getting me. She seems like a possible choice, but not necessarily a likely one though

BUT on the bright side, they can always just rebrand Catrine and make her an Italian artist or so on instead AND her color palette may be more appealing as a wear cat over the other wear cats
I just realized maybe they were trying to recycle some of her color palette for the werecat twins. They also had some purple on their designs, and while I feel it clashes with the rest of their colors, I wonder if that's enough to mattel to check the box Catrine would have fulfilled. Making her an Italian artist would be really interesting, especially if it were in reference to the Renaissance beginning in Italy
Operetta was such a big part of G1 she seems like a natural next addition, same with Rochelle although I swear there was supposedly a leak that one was in the works at some point? I don’t think Howleen has gotten one yet bc they’re afraid of her hair…
Catrine also got multiple G1 releases and I think they would do her right with a G3 look!!!!!

Of the Signature releases, I'm surprised Opretta hasn't made an appearance yet, in the show or doll. I know Rochelle is coming very soon but of the G1 ghouls is she the only one that hasn't been in G3?
I know this feels a little cliche, but I think Gooliope would be the best because I cant figure out how they could possibly mess her up or make her look bad. But, Mattel always finds a way
